~Chapter 4~
*Erizel's POV*
I collapsed on the ground and took a deep breath. Well if that's how he feels then so be it. I'm done putting up with guys and all their complicated-ness. I need to get away from guys for a bit.
Ah ha! I decided to drag Ember along with me so we could go do something fun together. Maybe a bit of girl time and we can bond. I've always wanted a friend who was a girl...
I put my fingers to my temples and thought Ember... Ember... EMBER GET YOUR BUTT HERE NOW!
*Ember's POV*
All of a sudden I felt a strong tug. What was that? It felt just like when the boss called me.
The world started to twist around me and my vision blinked in and out before I dropped to the floor... right in front of Erizel?! She must have called me.
"I guess you really are your mother's daughter," I groaned softly.
"What do you mean?" she said, looking at me curiously.
"Your mother always does the same thing to me. Just pulls me to her no matter what I'm doing because she wants me at that moment."
"Oh I'm sorry... I wasn't really thinking about it."
"It's okay" I admitted grudgingly.
"Haha," she said as she scratched the back of her head, "well we're going away so come on let's go!"
"Wha-"I managed to get out before she grabbed my arm and spread her wings, taking off.
Since I really didn't have any options at this point, seeing as Lucy clipped my wings to make sure I didn't go running around wild, I stared at her.
She is...
Stunning!
With her wings out like this I could clearly see her two sides. Her hair was split straight down the middle, the right side pure white and the black side pure black that went down to her butt. It had been black and white streaked before but I guess it became more defined when she took her non-human form.
It looked to be that she had grown a few inches too, from her petite 5'3" to 5'6" or so. Her angle wing was a pure white that seemed to throw off white beams of light; where as her demon wing looked to do the same with dark shadows.
She turned her head back at me and smiled brightly, asking "So where do you want to go? London? Okay we're going to London!"
I stared into her eyes for a moment before I could manage to answer, "London? I've never been before, so that's fine with me."
Her eyes distracted me, one black with a white pupil and the other white with a black pupil, so I missed what she said next.
"Wait can you repeat that? I zoned for a minute there." I asked.
"Haha, its fine! I said 'I've been before so don't worry, I know my way around."
"Oh alright well then let's go!" I cheered. I could always do with some time away from my brother. I know I just saw him today for the first time in weeks but I already can't stand him so to London we go!
"Weeeeeeeee! Oh my Dad! Shinny!" Erizel exclaimed before she dove sharply to the ground and skimmed us along a lake.
I laughed to myself because it looks like she's pretty easily distracted. She must get that from her father since I personally know that once Lucy get's something in her mind she has deadly focus. This girl could be fun though. Maybe she'll help me open up.
