~Chapter 3~

*Erizel's POV*

"WHAT?!?!?! YOU HAVE A SISTER!?" I screamed at Shade.

"Well yeah... Didn't I tell you?" Shade said, looking at me with a distanced look.

"No! You don't tell me anything ever!" I wailed at him.

"Sorry but I mean it's not like it's really any of your business" Shade muttered while looking away.

"Oh... well if that's how you feel. Sorry I asked," I said.

I got up and walked out the front door. I don't know why I even bothered anyway. It's not like Shade likes me at all. I know he's just here because my mother wants him to make sure that Gabriel doesn't make me cross.

And the pathetic part is even though I know he doesn't care about me... I still care about him.

Suddenly I got thrown back against a tree in my front yard.

~~~
I must have blacked out for a minute since I didn't remember closing my eyes, but I opened them to see this beautiful blond haired girl in front of me.
"Who the heck are you?" I asked her.
"I'm Ember. Who are you?" She said to me.
"Erizel"
"Oh! I know who you are. I'm Shade's sister. It's nice to finally meet you. Your mother's told me a lot about you," she smiled.
Oh my... dad. This is Shade's sister? She looks nothing like him! And she actually seems nice. Maybe we can be friends. I've always wanted a girl for a friend, since for the majority of my life my parents were stealing me from each other and just this year I made my first friends in Gab and Shade... if they can really be called 'friends'.
"Well I wish I could say the same but Shade only told me that you even existed just yesterday."
"Haha that's just like him. He's so aloof and refuses to think about anyone but himself. But never mind him lets be friends!"
"I would love that! Do you want to meet my other friend Gabriel?"
"Uhm... no thanks, I'll pass," she murmured.
*Ember's POV*
Why did that name make my body tingle? There's no way it's possible.... Well whatever I'm just going to ignore it and keep on my mission. I promised Lucy I would get this done and one thing I've learned over the years is you don't promise the ruler of hell something you can't follow through with.
Shade has told me about this Gabriel person; that he's trying to make Erizel cross over to the good side and I can't let that happen.
"I'm gonna go find Shade, do you want to come?" I asked Erizel.
"No thanks... I don't really feel like dealing with his shit right now," she told me.
I could see the tears in her eyes. What has Shade done now? There isn't a chance in Heaven that we'll get her to come to our side if he keeps pissing her off!
I screamed, "SHADE!" as I walked into Erizel's house. "WHERE ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WHY IS SHE CRYING ARE YOU FREAKING STUPID?!"
*Shade's POV*
"WHERE ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WHY IS SHE CRYING ARE YOU FREAKING STUPID?!" I heard my sister yelling.
"Well I guess Ember is here," I muttered to myself as I walked toward her screaming. "What do you want little sister?"
"I want to know what the Heaven you did to her!"
"I didn't do anything, I swear to Lucifer."
"Then why is she crying?"
"S-she's crying?" I asked, shuddering.
"Yes! I just said that!"
Damn it.
*Erizel's POV*
HOW DARE HE?
He knew everything about me before ever meeting me because of my mom and he can't even show me the same kindness to tell me that he has a sister!
"Ugh!" I grunted as I threw a fireball at a tree and watched it burn.
I hate him! I hate him I hate him I hate him!
I flopped on my back, taking a deep breath and ripping some grass out before throwing it up in the air.
"Stupid Shade" I muttered.
"Oh so now I'm stupid?"
I jumped up and looked over at Shade leaning against a burning tree.
"I don't want to talk to you Shade."
"Alright fine I guess I'll just go," he yelled over his shoulder as he walked away.
*Shade's POV*
I sighed and tangled my hands in my hair, making fists and tugging. I'm so stupid! I just keep messing up with her. I'm never going to get her to come to my side at this rate.
And there's no chance of me telling her how I feel until then. As she is now she's just too good for me, she'll see the evil in me and reject me.
I looked down to the ground.
"Lucifer help me, I'm lost for her."
*Ember's POV*
I gasped quietly as I looked over at Shade from behind a tree.
He loves her? Shade... feels something for someone? I can tell he wants more than those one night stands he used to have in hell with all those whores.
What should I do...?
