We both walked down the streets of Miami with our hands clasped together. We both had to wear sunglasses to keep the paparazzi from recognizing us.
Josh had his hood up as usual. He tried as hard as he could to look like just another by-stander. His only fault was the fact that no one in Miami had on a hoodie. It was way to hot for the average individual to walk around in all-black like Josh. I had to give it to him though, he looked pretty hot.
I, on the other hand, had on a white plunging-neckline top on as well as a form-fitting black mini-skirt. I looked pretty professional, honestly. My hair was tied back into a bun and I wore my red lipstick pretty well. For once win my life, I felt pretty freakin' sexy.
All of a sudden, Josh's phone went off.
"Hello...? I told you to stop calling me! I'm done talking to you, okay?"
He ended the call and let out a sigh.
"Who was that?"
"It doesn't matter."
"Josh! Yes it does! Who was it?"
"I...I don't want to discuss it right now, okay? I promise that I'll tell you later."
"Okay. I hope you know that I won't let it drop, though."
"I know."
"Jess!"
I saw Emerald waving her hands in the air as we approached the cafe.
"Hey, Em!"
"OMG! I'm so happy you're here!"
She walked us in and showed us the table she had reserved and we proceeded to all talk about life. Not really in a deep manner, but just as old friends who wanted to catch up.
I had grown to seriously appreciate Emerald. She listened better than I listened to myself and she was pretty much my only 'real' friend.
But what kept running through my mind the entire time, was who called Josh earlier. I knew he was hiding something from me, and I also knew communication was important in a relationship.
I was going to bother the crap out of him until his spilled, because when I want something, I get it.
...
Learning the choreography was easy. After a few hours of that, we both headed back to our hotel room.
I immediately called the font desk and I ordered us pizza so that we could juts sit back and watch some TV while eating the most amazing food ever created.
After I put the phone down, I laid beside Josh and we both messed around on our phones.
It was the perfect time for me to brig up his mysterious call...
"Josh?"
"What?"
"Who called you earlier?" I asked in a demanding voice.
"Jess..."
"Josh! There needs to be communication in this relationship! Tell me right now, Trevor!"
