As soon as we got to the studio, I raced Josh to the catered food they had sitting out and I completely pigged-out.

Afterwords, I was pulled into the dressing room and given my dress and then thrown into hair and makeup before I could even look in the mirror.

Then the entire cast piled into five limos and we all drove off to the stage where we would be performing.

Once we got there, the cameramen set up the cameras and speakers. I stood in the long line of contestants and waited patiently for 4:00.

Finally, the time came and Maxwell walked out onto the stage.

"Welcome to the season premiere of The Phenomenon World Tour! Today you will meet all 35 of our registered groups slash duos and our three judges; Kevin, Teresa, and me. Now without further ado, let the show begin!"

I couldn't see much from my place in line, but I could see the curtains close and the first group got on stage.

Josh and I were the last performers because Maxwell thought it leave a dramatic effect on the returning or Josh.

Speaking of Josh, where is he?

I stepped out of line and looked around the hallway but I couldn't find him.

My heart began to race.

He has one hour to show up or else we'll be disqualified!

I took a deep breath and then let it out.

The clock is ticking!

...

Finally, it came time for Maxwell to announce Josh and I. The only issue was that Josh still hadn't shown up!

"Jess! Your on in two minutes," Jenna told me. "By the way, where's Josh?"

"I have NO idea!"

"Jess, if he doesn't show, you'll be disqualified."

"I know, I know!"

I pulled out my phone and called Josh.

Pick up, pick up, pick up!

"Jess?"

"Josh! Where are you?"

"I'm on my way."

"ON YOU'RE WAY? YOU HAVE ONE MINUTE BEFORE WE'RE DISQUALIFIED!"

"Don't worry! I actually just got passed security and I'm on my way."

I put down my phone and watched Maxwell finish his little intro.

"So without further ado, let me introduce our final act."

Maxwell looked at me and motioned for me to step forward.

I stepped on stage and stood their awkwardly.

"Uh, Jess? Where's you're partner?" Maxwell whispered.

I took the microphone out of his hands.

"I'm really sorry to say this, but my partner hasn't showed up yet. Therefor, I am disqualified-"

Just then, Josh stepped on stage and the crowd began to lose all chill.

"I'll take it from here," Josh told me as he took the microphone.

"Now I understand that Maxwell is probably wondering what I'm doing considering this wasn't scripted like everything else you've seen tonight. I feel like you deserve an explanation as to why I was late and before I get into that, I just want to that damn! Jess looks fricken sexy."

There were a few whistles in the crowd at this.

My eyes bulged out of my face as to ask 'what are your doing'.

"She has no idea I'm about to say this but, I was late because I was out buying my girlfriend a ring-"

The crowd began to scream their heads off at this.

"And Jessabelle Harbor, you mean the world to me. You're my worst distraction and my hardest goodbye. I can't dream of ever waking up next to anyone other than you, darling."

He got on one knee now.

Tears streamed uncontrollably down my cheeks as he held out a box with a gigantic diamond ring in it.

"Gorgeous, will you marry me so that we can get on with this performance?"

He stopped to plaster his signature seductive grin across his face.

"Josh, I- Oh my God! I'm kind of...breathless."

"Is that a yes?"

"Yes!"

Josh dropped the mic and stood up. He slipped the ring on my finger and I then wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him with more passion than ever as the audience erupted in claps and whistles.

I finally pulled away as the lights went dim.

"Shall we dance, darling?"

I smiled through the tears and pulled I him into our beginning pose.

"You don't have to ask me twice."

The music started and we flew across the room with more passion than ever
before.

It was perfect.
