"Girl! Girl! Wake up! Hey, wake up!" Said the voice pounding in my head.
My eyes fluttered open and stared up at a pair of bright, hazel colored eyes.
"W-what? Who are you?" I squinted up at him because the sun was peeking through the little, round window shining on my face making it hard to see the man in front of me.
"Who am I? Who on earth are you?"
I sat up on my elbows and moved so the sun was behind the man's head and saw that he was very young, maybe twenty. He had dark brown hair cut short on the sides and back and was long along the top middle and fell over to one side in short waves. He had a square jaw and tan skin like he had been in the sun all his life.
He snapped his fingers in my face bringing me back out of my trance and I blinked a few times at him.
"What's your name love?"He had a thick accent that I couldn't quite recognize.
I looked around, ignoring his question, and found that I was in a small room surrounded by wood. Wood walls, wood floors, a wood dresser, and a wood table with two wooden chairs.
I looked over at the man finally deciding to reply to his question. He stared at me questionably but patiently as I clear my throat.
"My name is Alexandra Ramsay. What's yours?"
He smiled and held out shackled hand. "My name is Stephen Andrews and I am shackled to you so would you kindly tell me what on earth is going on?"
He dropped his hand back to his side without giving me time to shake it and nodded to my wrist.
I looked down and gasped. My left hand was shackled like his right. The chain from my wrist leading to his. He chuckled as if this happened to him all the time and carefully pulled out a nail from the floor board.
"Don't worry love. I'll have us out in no time. Obviously you are just as lost as I am on the subject."
He began picking at the shackle's key hole with the nail, furrowing his eyebrows in the process, giving him a boyish look to his features.
I unsuccessfully held back a giggle and he looked up at me and smirked.
"See something you like love?"
I blushed at his accusation and shook my head frowning.
"N-no. You just...your eyebrows were furrowed. It looked...cute. P-please call me Alexa."
She shackles clicked as they popped open. My eyes widened and my jaw dropped. I've never seen someone break out of shackles before.
He flashed me a pearly white grin and gestured for me to give him my shackled hand. I waited a little too long for his liking and he grabbed my wrist and began picking at the lock.
He chuckled. "So you're saying that I look cute?"
Click.
My eyes widen and I open and close my mouth trying to answer him.
"That's not what I meant! Argh! What is wrong with you? I would like to know where I am and how I got here shackled to you!" I spat as I rubbed my wrist and got up looking down at his sitting figure.
