Prologue

His voice constantly disturbs my thoughts, laughing a cruel laugh. I can only ignore it and try to shut him out. There is no peace.

Months have gone by since he wrote that message on the walls of the Great Hall saying that we would all burn as Death takes us to hell. He is Death. My brother. My twin. My enemy. Thanatos.

I've read his letter to me more times than I could count, trying to put the pieces together. I've done lots of research about the god of death and nothing makes sense. Why would he believe that he is the god of death? What made him think such things?

Nearly three families have been murdered by Thanatos. Too many tombstones. This is not what it's meant to live in King's Tomb. The place I have grown up in, that once gave a sense of equality and peace, is now in the beginnings of a never ending war.

It's my fault. I let this happen...which means I am the one to stop it. Weakness is a strong word. And I am about to show Thanatos that he couldn't be more wrong-about everything.

Book 2 of the Strength Series

Ok guys! School is being a lot more demanding than I planned so I will not be publishing this, or any, book for a while.

I have published the prologue for Jacob's Curse right after this one so just go ahead and read that as well!

Towards the end of Jacob's Curse I may be leading into Infirmitate. I haven't really decided all the details for that yet but if I do add in some of Fortitudine and Infirmitate...there will probably be a couple spoilers...so read it at your own risk!

Anyways, as I said before, no details have been made at this time.

Please read ahead for my prologue on Jacob's Curse and don't forget to:

Au revoir mes amis!

Update 7/22/18

I decided to take the story a different way from what is described here. The official book is now published and you can read the story.

I didn't want to change anything in this book to remind myself of how much I've improved since I started.

A revised version of Fortitudine is on its way as well so be sure to follow me for updates and new books!

Merci, mes amis!
