Thanatos POV:

It's been two days since our Community Service to the people and Alexa is still 'missing' without a trace as to where she went.

To everyone but the Ramsay family she has been declared dead. Nobody knows that I gave her to a freighter whose thought was only on money and himself. As if I would actually pay him when he returns. What a fool to trust me.

A chuckle escapes me as I think about her alone and lost in London as I am sitting on the thrown receiving my right as head elder of the Fortitudine Clan.

'This is what she deserves for embarrassing me in front of all the elders in that first battle!' I thought to myself trying to reassure myself that what I did was right and I shouldn't feel so guilty about it.

'But if Thomas hurts a hair on her head I will never forgive myself.'

I shake my hands and shuffle my feet in order to try and not think of her being in the bottom of the ocean or something. I want to be elder but I can't kill my twin.

All of a sudden I felt a sting on my cheek. I walk over to the mirror thinking that a bug bit me but all I saw was a big red handprint covering the left side of my face.

That's when I felt the twin pull. Someone had slapped Alexa-hard!

I punched the mirror shattering it to pieces and cutting up my knuckles in the process.

"If only I had been strong enough to kill her during the battle instead of trying to give her a new life in London." I muttered as I washed away the blood from my fist and the floor.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"Hey Thanatos, son, don't worry. We'll find Alexandra." Said my father.

I hit my fist on the floor and began picking up the pieces of glass scattered around.

"I know you're just trying to comfort me Papa, but I just need to be alone right now. Please, just leave."

An angry tear fell down my cheek as I put the glass shards into a bowl as Papa closed the door behind him with a hand on his forehead.

Alexa may think that I hate her-that I'm an evil person-but the only reason I am so distant with her is that it will just be harder to kill each other when the Mortem battle came around. It's eating me on the inside out being so cruel to her but it's for her own good.

I sigh as I sit on the edge of my bed shaking my leg restlessly while I think of any way that I can help Alexa. And then I thought of the twin pull. The only way that I could've felt that slap was if Alexa was thinking about me.

'Maybe there's a way I can get a message to her somehow.' I thought to myself.

I stood up and walked over to the bowl of broken glass and picked up a shard.

"I'm so sorry Alexa, but it's the only way." I whispered as I began carving letters into my arm, biting my lip in order not to holler in pain and draw attention to myself. This was my fault and it's my responsibility to fix it.

As I finished bandaging my forearm there was a knock on my door.

"Son, it's your father, there's a girl here to see you. She says you know her stepbrother, Thomas? Should I let her in?"

I glare at the door and, wanting some payback, I walk over and open the door with a devilish grin.

"I would love to see her, let her in."

I grip a glass shard tightly as a young, blond haired girl stormed up the stairs pointing an accusing finger in my face.

"You!"

I hope this chapter wasn't too bad...I'm not really good at boys POVs.

Anyways, feel free to correct my grammar-although I am very picky about my grammar so there shouldn't be too many mistakes. 😬

Au revoir mes amis!-I just realized I was saying mon instead of mes! Don't tell my French teacher! (You know who you are)
