Several days later the cut was easily covered with makeup. You walked up to the flat with some of Mrs. Hudson's tea and biscuits for the boys. You could here the bickering before you even opened up the door. You had to leave when you came into the flat to Sherlock shooting the wall. You had to leave to take a breath.
"I called you intelligent!" John said defending himself.
"You also called me ignorant."Sherlock said still laying on the couch.
"If you two are discussing John's blog I thought it was rather interesting. I don't think John was meaning to be insulting. People want to know more about the genius." You said defending John.
"Please. Of course you would side with him. Idiots always defend each other." Sherlock muttered. You were shocked. You had always prided yourself on being considered average to Mycroft. You pushed Sherlock's tea to him and stood to go into the kitchen and wash up so Mrs. Hudson didn't have to. You were only majorly irritated with the man.
"I am going to Sarah's" John stomped out angrily. Mrs. Hudson had come in and mumbled about it being cold outside. She shooed you out of the kitchen and you found Sherlock standing by the window watching John.
"It is so quiet. Isn't is hideous." Sherlock muttered. You just rolled your eyes while Mrs. Hudson told Sherlock he just needed a good murder to cheer him up. Honestly, he just needed to stop being an arse sometimes. Sherlock turned away from the window and took one step from it as and explosion knocked the windows in. Sherlock flew to the ground, his chair stopping him from going much further. You were knocked to the ground. Your breath came in ragged breathes and you focused on Sherlock.
"Sherlock! Mrs Hudson! Are you okay?" You asked frantically as you stood. Sherlock grumbled as he stood. He was fine and made sure you knew it before you focused on Mrs. Hudson. She had fallen, but was far enough away from the window she hadn't gotten hurt either. Se had just dropped a glass which was the last of our worries. You helped her to the couch and after brushing some glass and dry wall off sat her down. She was shaking. You hushed her and tried to comfort her.
"Sherlock. Was that a bomb?" You asked after Mrs. Hudson had gone down to deal with the police. He just shrugged. The police were so far convinced it was a gas leak. You were doubtful. You knew of one man who was very crafty with explosives. He had bragged about how to make a bomb explosion seem like a gas one. He said it was simple. Sherlock sat in his chair and went to his mind palace.
Sherlock is okay. The explosion was just a "gas leak"
You texted Mycroft before glancing around and looking at Sherlock. The police didn't want you cleaning up the debris until they were sure of the cause. Almost seconds after you sent the text Mycroft was calling you. You sighed before picking it up.
"You don't think it was a gas leak." He said rushed in the phone. He was working out.
"Not after my first capture. He talked way too much, and I was barely conscious but this was something he said he could do." You whispered. Sherlock was still in his mind palace and oblivious to the world.
"Well I will have Lestrade look into it. He is competent." Mycroft replied still breathless. You nodded before remembering he can't see you.
"Okay. I assume once you are finished working out you will be stopping by." You replied. You could almost feel the eye roll through the phone.
"Yes." Mycroft replied annoyed before the line went dead. You smiled. Nothing more fun then annoying Mycroft.
"Interesting, we have the same hobby. Annoying my brother." Sherlock said. You looked up at him still annoyed with him.
