Sherlock stared at John for a couple seconds mulling things over before we were all filing into another cab and Sherlock was pressing the driver to go faster. We arrived at the astronomy lab and you pulled out a gun and in the other you held on of your knives. You pulled in front of the group and walked through. Sherlock was annoyed at your pace but you were being safe. You entered into the theater and saw the Golem choking the Professor. Sherlock yelled getting the attention of the assassin. You instantly wished he hadn't. Golem snapped the professors neck before running onto the stage. You pointed gun the as Sherlock ran after him. Your aim wouldnt miss this time. John and Sherlock had him cornered and he attacked Sherlock. You put the gun away and jumped down the steps getting to the stage as fast as you could.
John was on the neck of Golem an Sherlock was laying on the ground. You stooped to see him and he pushed you out of his way standing. You truned to see john on the floor. Golem appraised you and you pointed you knife at him. He attacked. His reach being his advantage. You ducked and went in closer trying to be able to touch him. He caught you off guard and swung you to the ground. You smacked your head into the ground and your vision blurred. Bastard
You jumped up to find that the Golem was gone and Sherlock was once again helping John. You cursed and asked Sherlock if he was okay.
"I am fine. Come on. We have to prove the painting is a fake." Sherlock mumbled passing me. You followed after him resisting the urge to touch the back of your head. John was following behind and he caught up to you.
"You know your head is bleeding." John asked. You nodded slightly and pushed faster ignoring john's yell's to slow down. You all arrived at the gallery where your were met with the art curator and Lestrade. Sherlock was observing the painting insisting on it being a fake. The pink phone rang cutting him off. Your heart dropped into your stomach as Sherlock answered.
"The painting is a fake." Nothing but silence. Tears welled up in your eyes and you took a steading breath.
"Oh come one proving it is a minor detail. Th painting is a fake. I solved your little puzzle. " Still nothing but silence. You bit your lip and Sherlock sighed turning back to face the painting.
"Ten...Nine.." A kids voice sounded through the phone. You paled and hurried out of the room. You didn't want to stick around and see if Sherlock figured it out. You were sitting on the curb outside waiting. You ignored the stares of passerby's. Not even ten seconds later Sherlock and John were outside. You picked yourself up off the ground and followed them into a cab and home.
"Why did you leave?" John asked you. You were sipping a fresh cup of tea and sitting in Sherlock's chair. He had claimed he was going to bed awhile ago.
"No matter how much faith I have in Sher, I hate hearing the sound of innocents with their lives on the line. That kid didn't deserve what Moriarty was doing. None of them did." You stated with conviction before standing.
"Good night John." You muttered as you stretched and placed your cup into the sink. You wandered into the bathroom and changed into something suitable to sleep in. You shoved your bag under the counter and stepped quietly into the room Sherlock and you were currently sharing. He wasn't sleeping instead he was in his mind palace. You smiled down at him and slid into the bed careful not to distrub him.
"Good night Y/n" Sherlock whispered startling you. You turned to face him and found his blue eyes on you.
"I actually wanted to talk to you, but if you are tired it can wait." You replied. You might have been tired, but you wanted to spill what was on your mind now. Sherlock had just hummed.
"I didn't leave because I didn't trust you. I had full faith in you. I will always have full faith in you." You said carefully. His eyes studied you and he smiled.
