The next day you all sat at a table for breakfast. You ordered, but only picked at the food on your plate. You didn't have much of an appetite and soon you were going to Scotland Yard to give the rundown with Lestrade. The bomb that the girl was wearing yesterday was the same as the explosion across the street. You all sat around watching Sherlock think.
"Does the freak ever go home." A girl detective said. Your head snapped up from the ground and you glared.
"Donovan not now." Lestrade muttered watching Sherlock. You studied her and smiled. When you saw the man standing somewhat behind her talking to someone else then started to click.
"Still shagging your coworker." You muttered. She looked over to you and her eyes narrowed.
"Y/n, we have a new case." Sherlock said looking up from his mind palace. You nodded and walked over to look at the picture that would be sent through. Four pips sounded through the room. Then the picture of a car. Sherlock handed the phone to Lestrade who wrote down the plate's number.
"We will find it." Lestrade said. Sherlock nodded as he stood. He took back the phone when it rang.
You tuned out the conversation and watched as Lestrade sent Donovan and her coworker off to find the car. You turned back to Sherlock to see him with a glint in his eye.
"He gave us 8 hours." Sherlock said. You nodded once again. It was a considerable less amount of time. Lestrade stuck his head back into his office.
"We found the car." He said with a smile. Sherlock jumped up and followed Lestrade out. John and you followed both of them. You arrived at some lot. Sherlock was looking in the car while Lestrade talked.
"It was found this morning, covered in blood. Belonged to an Ian Monkford." Lestrade rambled. You were watching the crowds that had accumulated.
"I assume the blood is his." Sherlock said straightening from the car. You smiled at him, and looked for John. He was fending off Donovan. You grimaced and quickly turned your face into something blank. Unbeknownst to you Sherlock had seen it. He had been watching you trying to figure you out, but it was distracting him from the case.
"Its is his blood type. His wife has arrived Sherlock." Lestrade said looking at some crying woman. Sherlock and John walked up to her. You stood back watching her. She looked confused and angry, but never truly sad. She knew what happened to her husband and she wasn't dead.
"We are going to Janus Cars." Sherlock said as he bristled passed you. You followed ignoring Donovan's yells to John.
After a quick cab ride and Sherlock thinking out loud about the case you arrived at Janus cars. Sherlock walked into the office to speak with the owner. The owner took one look at you and smiled.
"I thought I wouldn't ever see you again Lexi." He said. Your smile faltered. Lexi was a very old alias that you used almost six years ago.
"Umm my name isn't Lexi." You muttered. You were thinking hard about when you would have met. It was beyond you. Then you remembered when you had to leave to Germany for some time. Mycroft had told you of a man and how to get out.
"Right. Not Lexi anymore. So what can I do for you." He said. Sherlock was frozen, but he cleared his throat and began questioning the owner. It was seemingly innocent conversation, until Sherlock asked for change to buy some smokes. Colombian Money. And a lot of it. It started to make sense. Sherlock grinned and looked at you and John before thanking the owner.
"Before you go. May I speak with Lexi alone." He asked. Your eyes narrowed and nodded to Sherlock who stepped out of the room along with John.
"My name isn't Lexi." You repeated yourself in a dangerously low tone.
