Authors Note- So simply because it is simpler to write you are a girl. Sorry not sorry. It is much easier to walk in the shoes of a girl then it is a male. Anyway please vote and give me your feedback below. I love all of it.

After some much needed medical assistance and some time to heal Mycroft came to visit you at your apartment.

"Your moving. Your case is simple protect the only consulting detective in the world.  He is troublesome and honestly a pain. He is essential to the police solving any cases though. I have already called Mrs. Hudson, your new landlady. She is expecting you at 3:00 today." He explained. He handed you a file and a new phone, along with a key.

"Mycroft, what is this detective to you?" You asked already seeing the emotions he always hides.

"Y/n, he is my brother." Mycroft stated as he picked up the umbrella he had left by the door. You had gotten it for him a couple years ago. You nodded and stood. You packed some clothes including all your dresses. You believed in proper dress during all parts of the day. Your shoes were packed up next, Other then some sneakers for your morning run the rest were heels. Again have to look sharp.

You glanced at a clock and stepped outside with your bags. You hailed a taxi and gave the address that was in the file you had already read through. The file was thorough. Flatmate John Watson was a military doctor and Sherlock's blogger. Molly Hooper was the girl that worked at the morgue who helped Sherlock with all of his experiments. Detective Inspector Greg Lestrade is the only detective that actually appreciated Sherlock's help. Not as idiotic as the others I suppose. And lastly Mrs. Hudson. Sherlock had ensured her husbands murder charge had stuck and has lived in her flat 221B for awhile now.

I texted Mary with a smile. She was the only one that knew of my new case. She was trying to get out of the business. The taxi stopped and I paid. He helped me remove my bags and I smiled. I walked up to the dark blue door and knocked. I heard the sounds of an older lady with a bad hip behind the door.

"You must be Mrs. Hudson." You said with a smile when she got the door open. She smiled and ushered you in.

"Come in dear. You must be Y/n. Let me show you to your flat. A young gentlemen came earlier and put a piano in the corner. I supposed it was for you." She said as she opened the door to your flat. You smiled and walked inside. Mycroft had fully furnished the flat for you. There was a not sitting on the piano in the corner which you ignored until you were alone.

"Well deary, since your new you must meet your neighbors upstairs. You can have tea with them. It will be ready in ten minutes. I will come and get you." She said excitedly. You smiled and she left whistling a small tune.

You stepped around the small couch and plucked the note off the piano.

I know normal life isn't for you, but whether you liked it or not you were heading in a downward spiral. Enjoy being with my brother.-MH

You gave a partial smile at the note before placing it back on the piano. You walked down the hall to the small room where you would stay. The flat was rather small but perfect for you. You quickly unpacked you meager belongings. Mrs Hudson knocked on the door before letting herself in.

"Woo Hoo. Teas ready. You can help me carry it up." She called. You stepped from the room and took the tray with the cups and kettles.

"Thank you Mrs. Hudson." You told her as you both climbed the 12 steps to Sherlock's flat. Mrs. Hudson didn't even knock as she walked in. You hesitated, but stepped in bringing the tea to a table in the kitchen.

"Oi, who are you?" John yelled. You jumped and looked at the doctor. He had a glock in his hand leveled at your chest. He looked tired and in need of a good shave.

"I apologize Doctor Watson. I moved into the flat downstairs and I was helping Mrs. Hudson bring you some tea." You explained rather calmly.

"JOHN, that is no way to treat a guest." Mrs. Hudson scolded. John was muttering apologies as he put his gun away. You shook your head and handed him his tea. You picked up Sherlock's and set it next to him. He had his eyes closed and they were in prayer position under his chin. You had seen the pose often.

"How did you know how I like my tea?" John asked after taking a sip. You froze forgetting you actually had never met the two before. At this Sherlock's eyes opened and focused on you. You smiled and he picked up his cuppa. He looked into it and slowly took a sip.

"Its perfect." He muttered. His eyes traveled back up to you. You were mentally screaming a self for m mistake. You blamed Mycroft. Even though rationally you know it wasn't his fault.

"You work for MI6. Obviously on a case and we are part of it. Also you are armed. Very armed." Sherlock said. He took another sip of his tea before looking smug. I sighed then rolled my eyes. I slipped out my phone and without looking at it sent Mycroft a text telling him I was already made.

"Your brother should be proud. You are intelligent." You replied as you picked up your tea. You sat on the couch already knowing the boys had their own chairs. Sherlock's eyes followed you as he tried to figure you out.

"Dear me. You couldn't hide the fact that you work for me for more than five minutes." Mycroft said. Your eyes slid to meet his and you smiled.

"He is smarter than you let on." You joked. You finished your tea and stood to rinse out your cuppa. John jumped up to help you.

"Why are cleaning. Mrs. Hudson would have taken care of it." Sherlock said from the living room. You rolled your eyes turning to him to explain manners when Mrs. Hudson took care of it for you.

"Sherlock. I am not your housekeeper." She said as she bustled around picking things up. I smiled and after taking care of mine and John's cup went back to sitting on the couch. I was looking around looking for clues as to what he was working on. There were Chinese numbers all over the walls. Clearly a code.

"What do the numbers stand for?" I asked hoping Sherlock could enlighten me.

"We haven't cracked the code yet. How did you know they were numbers?" John asked.

"Case." Sherlock and I answered at the same time. Mycroft sighed and stepped out seeing as everything here was handled. I looked at all the books and started really studying them. Piles of identical books were stacked next to each other while non-matching books were strewn haphazardly. I watched as Sherlock went back into his mind palace and John sighed.

"Well, he will be unresponsive for a couple hours." He said as he stood.

"I hope you don't mind, but I have a date to get ready for." He said. I waved him off and kept looking through the things Sherlock had collected. He stood up almost right after John had left and pulled open his phone.

"Hi, This is Sherlock Holmes. I would like to order two more tickets to the circus. I had two more people agree to attend with me. Yes, just charge it to the card." He said after hanging up he smiled up at me.

"We are going to the circus. A Chinese circus." He said excitedly.
