Your head whipped around to meet Moriarty's gaze. Moriarty would not kill Sherlock. Your hand tuoched the gun that Sherlock had brought. Sherlock carefully stepped up behind you and took it back making you blink.
"Well maybe my answer has crossed your mind." Sherlock said as he leveled the gun towards the vest on the ground. A very intense staring contest had started. You blinked when you heard the song Staying Alive start playing.
"Do you mind if I get that." Moriarty asked. Sherlock shook his head and waved the gun indicating that Moriarty could answer his ringing phone. We watched as he yelled into the phone. He walked out of the pool area still on the phone and when he reached the doorway he snapped his fingers and the red dots disappeared.
"Tell me we didn't just let him go?" You asked. You were still staring at the doorway Moriarty walked out of.
"We didn't. Eventually we will get him. Come on now." Sherlock whispered pulling you away. You turned to follow and John was already heading out.
"I think John is upset with me." You whispered. Sherlock, who hadn't let go of you squeezed lightly. You relaxed and followed them into a cab. The cab ride was silent. It made you realize how tired you actually were. You leaned on Sherlock and closed your eyes while you waited for the cab to come to a stop. When it did you jolted awake and stumbled up the stairs behind John. John went straight to his room and slammed the door.
You glanced at Sherlock who shrugged. You simply nodded and went into Sherlock's bedroom and slid into your spot and before you head hit the pillow you were sleeping.
For the next several weeks John and Sherlock questioned people about cases. Although none were interesting enough for Sherlock. You woke up late on day and you stepped into the living room to find Sherlock and John talking to a man already. You squeaked and ran to the bathroom. You were still in your pajamas. After getting dressed and brushing on the tiniest amount of makeup you slipped back out into the living room.
"Sorry." You muttered to Sherlock. John must have left while you were in the bathroom so you settled on John's chair.
"You needed the sleep. If I needed you I would have woken you. This is our newest case. As soon as John arrives on the scene he will video call me." Sherlock explained. You smiled and nodded then took note that Sherlock was only wrapped in a sheet.
"Sherlock." You said trying to get his attention. He merely hummed.
"Are you only wearing a sheet?" You asked trying to ignore the burning in your cheeks. Sherlock turned to see your reaction and nodded. You gave a slow nod and too a deep breath offering our guest an apologetic smile.
"Ahh John there you are." Sherlock said as he opened the video call. You stepped behind Sherlock and waved.
"Sherlock are you sure you couldn't have come out to the crime scene." John asked. He waved at you and ducked under some crime tape.
"I don't leave the house for anything under a 7. This is a 6." Sherlock stated. You smiled and ruffled his curls before stepping into the kitchen to make some tea.
"Point the camera at the grass. Okay let me see the body." Sherlock gave direction while you filled the kettle. You heard the laptop close and Sherlock humph. You stepped into the living room to see two gentlemen in suits.
"You two are coming with us." They stated. You snickered.
"No." Sherlock said and you grinned.
"Go grab him some clothes. You are going to want to come with us." The taller of the two stated. You stepped forward.
"If he doesn't want to go, he won't" You said lowly. His eyes snapped to yours and you held his gaze.

Hayran KurguSO I have been reading A LOT of these and none of them really live up to expectations. Not that that were bad, but they didn't capture Sherlock well enough except for the few in my reading list. Those were amazing. So I thought I would give it a sh...
