Because we're girlfriend and boyfriend, your life changes. It gets more awkward at school. It gets more weird when you go out to places together. Your parents start acting differently.
So, the day after we kissed, we had to go to school.

I pulled my little grey truck into the empty parking spot next to Jordan's usual parking spot. She wasn't here yet so that gave me some time. I turned on the radio and started listening to some popular music.
Once Jordan's little black car parked next to me, I turned down the radio. She got out of her car to sit in the passenger's seat of my car.
"Good mornin', Jordan! Did ya sleep well last night?" I asked her.
"Good morning to you, too, Alex! And I surprisingly did sleep pretty well. How about you?"
"No, not really," I started to yawn, "I couldn't stop thinkin' 'bout ya." She blushed a bit which made me feel something. My heart started to flutter like a girl's would if her crush started to stare at her. Cut it out, Alex, I thought to myself. And it suddenly stopped fluttering. Thank goodness it did.
"Anyways, I forgot to thank you last night. I really appreciated the free dinner and the free ride home," she becomes silent for a while before she says, "Oh, shoot!"
"What?" I ask her.
"How's school going to go if we're a couple? I haven't had a boyfriend in 9 months. How does this work again? I completely forgot. Great, I'm the worst girlfriend ever. That's just great," she rambles. She looks away from me to look out the window.
"Jordan, calm down. Don't worry, I'll have it all under my control. And, no, your not the worst girlfriend. And, I don't know how school today is gonna go, either. We're in this together," I answer her. I take a hold of her left hand which causes her to look at me again. That's when I let my heart flutter. She's so beautiful. Her blonde curls. Her beautiful eyes. Her flawless skin. No wonder she had a boyfriend before me. She was so god damn pretty.
"No one's done this to me in a long time. I love you so much, Alex." And that's when we kiss each other, again. But this time, in my car. And instead of a little girl ruining it, our friends ruin it. Her lips were so soft that I couldn't resist. Her hair felt so good in my fingers. Her eyes, that were shut, made me love her even more.
Then, Eddy knocked on my window and said, "I guess we have another set of love birds in the group, guys." Cass and Izzy went to see what was going on on Jordan's side of my truck. Laney and Eddy were on my side. We stopped kissing and started laughing hysterically. Well, now, our friends know about us.

"Dude, are you guys datin'?" Eddy asked, wanting to know everything. I not my head yes. We were walking to the school because the bell was about to ring.
"Woah, where did ya take her last night?" I told him I took her to Gino's Italian Restaurant.
"That's a nice place for a first date, Alex. And, one more question, I promise. Did ya kiss her last night?" I told him the story of what had happened on her front porch and he started laughing.
"Isn't her sister wild? I met her sis when I had to go to her house for a school project in Spanish III," he said. I didn't know what project he was talking about because I take French IV.
And that's when Jordan took my by the hand to go sit down on the bench we did sit down on the first day of school. Something must be bothering her.
