I visited Jordan three times. Eddy visited her five times. Probably because he felt bad for his best friend. The first time was with Eddy, Laney, and Izzy. The second time was when Eddy and I were the only visitors. And the final time was when I was the only visitor.

After Laney got done with her mistake speech, I sat down and just hugged Alex. Not saying any words. You don't have to say anything. He stopped the water works. And, before I walked out of the room, he said, "Thanks, Cass! I needed that a lot!" I smiled back at him and left.

When Eddy and I were the only ones. We prayed by her. We talked to her. We told her jokes.

"Jordan, we pray that ya will come out of this rememberin' everythin'..."

"It was cheeseburger day at school, today. Your favorite cafeteria meal..."

"Hey, Jordan, why did the chicken cross the road? To get to the other side..."
(Sorry, I couldn't think of a better joke. I'm not that funny and I think Jordan knows that).

When I came to her hospital room alone, I just cried and talked. I updated her on what's going on in the world. I told her how everyone was doing. I held her hand and cried. Tears rolling down my face until the nurse came in.

"Sweetheart, are ya okay?" The nurse asks me. She's quickly sat down beside me and started rubbing my back. I shook my head no.

"Everythin' will turn out just fine. I promise she'll wake up n' go right back to school before ya know it."

"I just don't like that she's here. All alone without anyone."

"Well, I'm here. Sometimes I talk to her. I have some patients who don't have anyone left to visit them. So, I spend time with them the most. It's sad but, ya gotta stay positive. Ya can't let her drag ya down. Ya gotta live your life, wishin' she gets well."
