"Jordan, wait?" Alex says, after hugging me goodbye and letting me get into my car, "I need to get your phone number." I nod my head in agreement and look around my car for something. Something to write with like a pen and something to write on like a piece of paper. I couldn't find anything so I tell him my number verbally as he puts it into his phone.

"I still have my Chicago number so it's (312) 481-3349," I say, as he puts it into his phone. He gives me his number verbally, as well.

"Thanks. Have a safe ride home, Jordan. Talk to ya later," he says, walking away from my car. I wave goodbye until he's out of sight.

What just happened?

I cried on a stranger's shoulder. I trusted a stranger on my secrets. I held a stranger's hand. I fell for a stranger I just met today.

What the heck is wrong with me?

Am I sick or something. I just met Alex today. I don't even know if he has a girlfriend or if he is single. I don't know anything about this guy. And I've already gave him my number.

Geez, Jordan! What were you thinking?
