I would visit Jordan everyday from 4:30 to 6 pm with Mommy. When Daddy came into town for the weekends, I would spend the whole day up there. 10 am to 8 pm. Then, Mommy would pick me up.

"Mommy, when will Jordan wake up?" I would constantly ask her.

"I don't know, sweetie. I really don't know," Mommy would say. Then, I would break down, crying my eyes out.

"Why did this happen to her and not someone else?"

"I don't know, sweetie. I really don't know," Mommy would answer. And I would break down, crying. Her constant answer to my questions about Jordan were the same.

At first, I hated Alex with a passion. But, whenever he came to the hospital when I was their with Mommy or Daddy, I would hug him. Never letting go.

Sometimes, he would pick me up into his arms and I would never let go of his neck. Hey, he smelled very good. No wonder why Jordan liked him.

During those 4 months, a bond between Alex and I grew and grew. To the point where the bond was so strong that I loved him as much as Mommy and Daddy.

Occasionally, Alex would play with my hair. He didn't pull my hair like Mommy or Jordan did. He softly put it up in ponytails or braids and, sometimes, in a bun. He was very good at it. I don't know where he learned how to do it. All I cared about was that he was playing with my hair.
