I hopped out of bed in a frenzy, ignoring the fact that my towel no longer covered any part of my body.It didn't even matter anymore.
"What is it?Lena tell me what's wrong?what did she say?"Liam begged for answers as I began rummaging around.
"I have to go back to my home.My uncles in danger,I have to go now as fast as we can."I told him.
Liam caught up with me in an instant and threw a white bag at me.
"Here's the clothes.I hope you don't mind black.I also bought you some food from the sub shop around the corner."I caught it,and started throwing on the items in the bag.I didn't really pay attention to the clothes,or to anything that I was doing.
Liam was dressed again in an instant. As I threw my hair up in a pony tail I glanced at the food sitting on the end table near the t.v
I wasn't hungry anymore I was more anxious than anything, and instead of eating anything I went straight for the phone dialing out to my Uncle's house.
"Hi,this is Jefferson,leave a message."
His answering machine only made my nerves worse.I groaned in frustration, not knowing what to do next.Liam seemed to notice my worry, and came over and pulled me into his embrace.
"Don't worry Lena,we'll go and check on him.Im gonna go check us out,why don't you head to the car?"he murmured.
I pulled back and looked into his eyes, which were filled with compassion. If I could trust anyone,it would be Liam.
I nodded at him,and stepped away from his embrace.Gathering all my courage,I left the hotel room and walked to the car in silence.
(Liam's Pov)
When Lena walked out of the room, and was out of sight,I pulled my phone out and dialed the number I had just called earlier that day."Jarro?"I spoke in a soft voice.
"Have you done it yet?"he asked me.
I glared at the door, tears pooling in my eyes.
"Yes..I did it.I told her to leave."I whispered.
"Where did you tell her to go?"he asked.
"To her uncle's house.Shes gone now.."I said.
He chuckled darkly,"Finally, ill get to end this once and for all.Thank you for helping me..now you won't die as long as you keep your promise to me Telliam."he said.
I felt sick.I felt disgusting.I wanted to scream and tell him he was worthless, but all I could say was,"Okay."in a defeated tone.
Jarro hung up.
What Jarro didn't know, was that it wasn't Lena he would see,it was me.
If he thought I'd willingly send Lena out there to die,he had another thing coming.Though Lena's mother had complicated things by telling her to go back,my form of transportation was advanced, and all I had to do was teleport.
Lena would get there too late, way after Jarro has killed me for betraying him and he'll think that I've sent her somewhere else.
As long as she's safe..that's all that mattered.I hope she doesn't hate me for leaving her after I said I wouldn't...but I wanted more than anything for her to live.
The pretty three year old that looked at me with those lost blue eyes, with fear, all because of her being alive.
I promised myself that I'd always protect her and that's all I intend to do.
With one last glance around the room,i recalled the feeling of Lena's soft lips against mine, letting me show her my feelings without saying a word.
At least she knew.Even if she was mad at my decision to die,she knew that I did truly want the best for her and I still do and always will even after death.
I squared my shoulders and closed my eyes.Goodbye my Lena.
After opening my eyes,I found myself standing in front of the house Lena grew up in.
Please don't hate me,Lena.I thought to her hoping she might hear me,but there was no response,my thoughts were too far away from her.
(Lena POV)
As I waited by the car, seconds became minutes, then minutes became maybe an half hour.I went to the hotel lobby, and the old man was no longer there, but a bright and chirpy blonde replaced him. She looked at me with wide eyes but smiled sweetly."yes can I help you?"she asked.
"Yes,my boyfriend and I just checked out have you seen him at all?Under the name Telliam?"I asked her.
She typed in her computer and frowned."No sweetheart,in fact you two are still checked in,try checking the room."she said to me.
I thanked her silently and went about my way back to the room in confusion. What the hell?
When I reached the room, there was nobody there.Nobody inside. Not a soul.My food was still sitting on the end table and so was a credit card and some money.
The note Telliam had left was ripped into tiny pieces in the trash. What the hell?
Had he left me?"Liam?"I called out a panic rising in my voice.
Silence.Not even a cricket.
Tears welled in my eyes.
"Liam...please where are you?!"I screamed.Nobody answered me.
I couldn't believe it.Liam had left me by myself after he promised to protect me.I broke down into sobs feeling completely alone.
Why had he left me?why would he do this?!My anger began rising to an inconsolable state.I was so mad,so hurt.I felt betrayed,in it's utter form. There was no words to describe the anger I felt towards Liam for leaving me.
Nevertheless,I had a job to do.I had to save my uncle and aunt, and I would do it alone if I had to,or die trying.
I wiped my tears and stood up.I was going to do this alone.I had to now.Even though it's not what I wanted,Liam probably didn't want to die over me.
In a way I didn't blame him.He was trying to save himself.I could live with that even if it hurt me more than it should have.
Hey everybody! So this chapter was probably a twister for you.And here's a brief explanation.
Liam is sacrificing his life for Lena.
The end. But on another note I hope your still enjoying my story ! The plot thickens now! MWAHAHAHA. I swear I'm not psychotic ;) Either way I'll catch y'all later :)
