Chapter Five:Fate

As we arrived at another set of doors,Telliam stopped and pulled out a set of keys from his pants pocket.He then opened the door,and walked inside and I followed in silence.
I could hear singing,beautiful singing in a language that I've never heard of,by a woman.It echoed off the dark cave walls and we seemed to be walking right towards it.
"What language is this?"I ask Telliam.

He grins,"It's Classified only for my coven.Sorry.I can only tell you that it's a spell to keep their physical forms shielded from you."he says.
I frown immediately,"So will I even get to see them? Or are they that afraid of me?"I ask him in irritation.

"They aren't afraid of you..in fact they want you to stay with us,because your power is useful to our coven."He tells me.I was about to comment back when finally,we reached the outside of the dark cave.It was so bright out I immediately shielded my eyes.There was nothing but dirt and hot sun for as far as I could see,but I noticed to the right of us,was a brown Jeep parked on the trail leading back to the mainland.
"Isreal,is telling me that it is time we take our leave."he murmurs.
My brain is doing too much.First I was going to train,now I'm leaving?I don't even know what my power is or let alone how to control it.Am I supposed to just go out blindly to fail immediately?

"Who is isreal? The leader?And I still haven't ate,i look a mess,id really love a shower first at least and a meal.Then what about training me I don't know how to control my powers,I can't even tell you what my powers are!"I was nearly yelling,my head beginning to hurt with all this confusion.
Telliam laughed at me harder than he ever has laughed in my presence, and he grabs my hand and strokes it softly.

"Sweet Lena. I thought you had figured it out..your power is the ability to mimic.You can instantly pick up on a power and copy cat it to perfection.Remember when you woke up,and your stomach was glowing creating a shield like mine was?Or how about when you could feel what I was feeling,just like me?That was your body automatically picking it up registering it and recreating it.Not only that,but I believe once you mimic a power,its in your system forever,so you can do it at any given time you'd like.Honestly Lena it's not rocket science."He chuckled at me with a sweet smile.

Oh.This was news to me. I instantly realized why I was so dangerous,and vital to both sides of my mystical family.And now,the dark witch coven wanted a piece of me as well.I nodded at him.So now that I knew what it was,it would probably be easier for me to channel it and work on it.Thats probably another reason we are having to leave today.
"Okay,so we need to find my mom asap"I say decidedly.
"That means,we have to visit your mother's side of the family first.The vampires have her."he tells me.
Oh hell.. Vampires and Angry vampires were not exactly the best mix,but I was determined to rescue her if it was the last thing I'd do. Or at least die trying.. dramatic I know.

"First,"he says letting my hand go and pointing to the Jeep,"We must get you fed and cleaned up.While your doing so,try to communicate with your mother and see if she's able to respond."he says.
He started walking again,and once again,I followed but had more questions.
"Communicate how?"I ask incredulously.
He chuckled at me then smiled sweetly as we arrived finally at the Jeep,"Man Lena you have a lot to learn.Any family member that is far away from you can communicate with other family members..kind of like a phone call,except no phone bill.You have to literally search for her voice in your mind and open it up to hear her voice.She may even be trying to contact you now."He says.He opens the door for me and I climb in muttering a small thanks.

In my mind,i began calling out to my mother.No reply.I kept trying though,trying to open my mind in the process. Maybe I wasn't trying hard enough,because honestly my brain should have exploded yesterday when I found out I wasn't even human..or whatever day that was.

Mom?Mom please answer me, are you there?I'm coming to save you.Telliams with me so I think I'll be okay.
As I think these words and try to project them in my mind,i looked at Telliam and observed his nonchalant posture. He didn't seem too upset by all this.I kept watching him,and the more I looked the more I imagined his perfectly sculptured lips against mine.He was handsome.I couldn't deny the strange attraction I felt toward him.I liked him..and I couldn't understand why I liked him.What was it about him that was so special?Besides the good looks.I couldn't put my finger on it.It was literally like I knew him,like I've known him for a long time.I felt like I knew everything about him even though I don't even know his last name. In all honesty,it was frustrating to me.
"What has your mind in such a fluster Lena?"he asked me out of nowhere.
I blush immediately because I forgot momentarily he could probably feel the raging emotions.
Flustered was a good way to put it.
"Just..thinking about my life."I answer,which isn't a total lie.I noticed now that we were on the highway.
"What's our first stop?"I ask him trying to change the subject.
He smirked,"A hotel,you need a shower and clean clothes and while your showering,ill be going to get you clothes and food.We will stay one more night before our real trip,because we have to go to Nigeria,and that's not exactly close."he laughs.Nigeria?Out of the country?I am appalled by this knowledge,and then his words sink in.

"Wait a second!Your going to buy me clothes?How do you know my sizes ?!"I almost shriek at him.
He laughs at me and looks at me with a smug smile,but when he meets my icy glare he quickly Sobers up.
"I am going to buy you clothes. I can't believe your more worried about me buying you clothes than going to Nigeria.I don't know your size,but I'm good at guessing.Is it making you nervous that I know?"he asked me.

I blushed a deep color of red and straightened myself up trying to appear nonchalant.
"Not really just proves how much of a perv you are."I say crossing my arms over my chest.He smiled widely,but didn't respond.

We arrived at a motel six,And by this time it was just getting to be three in the evening.We walk inside the motel and the old man at the desk looks up at me and his eyes widen like a hawk. I must look a mess.I slept in a dirty cave with no food,water,or a shower.
"Can I have your name please?"he asks almost in a shaky voice staring at me in concern.
"Liam and Lena Munro."he responds in a light happy tone.
The man looks in the computer obviously a little uncomfortable and gives us two keys and our room number.As we walked toward the elevator I believe I even heard him say something about pimps and hoes.
In the elevator I snickered to myself and looked to my side to see Telliam laughing as well.As we walked inside our room I was genuinely shocked at the arrangement.
One big white bed in the center of the room,and to the left was a small white sofa,there was a black flat screen T.V on the wall in front of the bed and the mini fridge was beside the TV with the microwave on top of it.
"Where am I sleeping?"I asked him.
"In the bed darling."he grinned mischievously.
"Uh...where are you sleeping?"I asked him holding my breath.
He just smiled at me.

"Oh hell no.Im not sleeping in the same bed as you Liam.You're kind of a perv."I said walking over to the sink to look at myself in the mirror.
"You might as well get used to it now since we will be later."
I whirl around and face him with my mouth wide open.The hell did he mean?
He smiled.
"Your mother didn't tell you did she?"he whispered.
Oh,no.
"It's our fate Lena.We're going to fall for each other,then I'm going to die protecting you."

Sorry it took me so long with this update everyone ! I have been trying to re-write this part at least 100 times lol.Next update will probably be June 18th or 19th depending lol. Nigeria is going to be Awesome :D
