Chapter four:Feelings

It took me a long time to sleep after that. Probably because I was too nervous,or maybe too scared,or maybe just both combined. Either way even after I did it was for what it seemed a short while,until Telliam's voice awakened me with a start.
He stood there in his cloak and white glow still shielding him. He gave me a small smile,"Good morning Elaine.It's time,we have plenty to do today before we set off tomorrow on our week long journey."he says brightly. My stomach started doing flips.
"What are you going to do with me?"I whispered.
He laughed,"Well Elaine,im not going to kiss you if that's what your thinking."he says.
I glare at him."That's not-"
"Take a joke Pretty girl,I was only kidding,but anyways I have to unseal those powers and after you wake up,ill train you on combat,in case we ever need it which I'm not going to lie we will I'm certain,then we will prepare for our leave."He explains. As he does,he leans down to the chains and from his hand a key is produced and he lets me free. As I stand up and stretch out,i feel like a new woman how long had I been here?I look at him,waiting for his next order but he just gazed at me,no not at me,into me, unmoving eyes.
A shiver ran down my spine,and being so close to him,even though he was taller was just a strange yet pleasurable feeling.
"Your beauty is undeniable Elaine."he whispers to me.
My heart flutters at the complement but quickly I shake it off.
"Let's focus on the main task." I say.
He grins at me,noticing my quick change of subject but instead of asking or responding to what I said he just nodded,and motioned for me to follow him.
We walked down the dark dirt cave for about three minutes in complete silence,and finally we reached a big metal door.He opened the door,and we were led to a field,still inside the cave,and on the walls of the cave were beautiful writings glowing white,the same language as the tattoos on Telliam's arms.
We stopped in the middle of the field,and Telliam grabbed both of my hands and turned me away from him. I felt his arms around my stomach holding me to him,and I stopped breathing and moving. His touch was so warm,gentle and safe.i wanted to melt in these arms. Oh,my.C'mon Lena get it together.
"Are you ready?"he whispered in my ear.
A moan involuntary escaped my mouth,but all I could do was nod.
"Bring the power surging from within out of this woman..Unseal."he says
As if on cue,my body began glowing the shade of blue again except this time it began seeping from every part of my body. I felt as if I were about to explode, this sense of adrenaline coursing through my entire body.
Telliam kept my arms down beneath his,then i realized why I was in his arms.My arms were shaking,i was shaking.I couldn't stop either.
Suddenly it all stopped and he stepped away from me.As I turned to face him,his eyes widened in shock and awe.
"Elaine,you have awakened now."he said. He pulls out a tiny little mirror and hands it to me
Staring back at me is glowing blue eyes,long thick black hair and on my chest was a blue mark of the sun on me above my right breast.I looked different but the same.As if something were inside of me,but really it was me trapped in my body.
"Now your finally ready to be killed."Telliam brings me out of my gaze to his suddenly evil glare
What?
He crouched as If he were about to spring.That asshole lied?! In complete anger I growled at him.
"I'll tell your mother that she failed."he said then he jumped for me.
In a strange millisecond I screamed stop at him,and he fell down to the ground on his back,writhing in pain. At first I was happy that I'd stopped him,then I realized I was killing him.He wouldn't stop writhing,he just kept going and I realized that I hadn't stopped his pain and I had known right after I'd attacked that he was only testing me. "NO!" I screamed in panic,then all together he stopped moving.i crouched on my knees beside him stroking his face in complete fear if what I'd done and he opened his eyes and smiled at me,"That's my girl."he says.
"You could have Died,i didn't know how to stop it!I'm not your girl! You dumbass!"I snap at him.
He really must not have understood that I had no clue how to control these powers or what I can do. But I knew I could get him on the ground with that,and I knew I was dangerous.
"I'm very pleased you have some self control. Absolutely amazing."he says in awe,but I'm still just too pissed to talk.what the hell has happened to my life?
What happened to working at the movies ? He captured my hand that was absentmindedly stroking his face,comforting him,and looked directly into my eyes.I wanted to pull my hand away and stand up,but I couldn't almost as if I were compelled there,as if I was transfixed."Elaine.."he whispered my name as if it were a delicate flower.My body responded with a deep anticipating shiver,running through my entire body.What the hell?My breathing unnoticed until now had became ragged and deep,my lips were parted and I could feel a certain hunger growing deep within me and also a slight feeling of loneliness.What the hell was this feeling?I had never experienced anything so strange and exciting in my entire life.
"Can you feel it?The raging hormones within you?"he asked me with a wicked smile.I knew he was doing it right then,this must be some of his power.Amazed I nodded.
"This is only half of my power..I can feel what your feeling for me. I can make anyone feel what I want them to feel."he explains.
"Then is that why you don't get close to people?"I breathed out.
He gasps at me,apparently I have struck a nerve.
"H-how did you know that?"he asks
I frown.. yes how did I know that?I just had a feeling that he was closed off..it was obvious,that he didn't really have close relationships even to the open eye,but seeing as id only known him for 24hours this was strange that I knew that so fast.Or perhaps..was it one of my powers? I lift my hand in the air,and then I waited for him.He looked at my hand then back at me then nodded,and I placed my hand back on his cheek.There it was again,this feeling of loneliness..but even stronger than before.I knew then,that I could feel his feelings as well with one touch.woah.
"I can feel you.. your lonely."I say. He jumps up and leaves me there on my knees,and he turns his back to me.
"I'm not lonely.I don't need anyone in my life."he mutters.
Yeah,right..But I could tell this was a very touchy subject for him.
"I'm sorry for intruding,i was just trying to figure out my power."I mutter and then I stand up and wipe my jeans.
"Come,there are some people you need to meet,and we'll have you showered and cleaned and then some food."he ignores my whole statement.
I sighed,"okay Liam"I say leaving it at that.
I couldn't help how bothered I was at the fact that he was lonely,and felt all alone. I had felt that way all my life because of my strange parents and my strange life. He started walking straight ahead into another dark cave and I followed in silence.
