Chapter nine:Goodbye

(Liams POV)
I got a Multimedia message on my phone,and it brought me out of my conversation with Jeff.

I never got multimedia messages,and the number rose goosebumps on my arms.

When I opened the message,i almost screamed.
It was from Jarro,and Lena looked as if she'd been drugged and passed out in the front seat beside him.

The anger inside of me boiled.Id fallen for his trick.He set us up.He knew that I was going to lie to him.

"What is it Liam?"Jeff asked me.

"They have Lena.."I spat out,unable to say much else.

Jeff's eyes widened in horror.
"Are they going to kill her?!"he yelled.

"Probably.Its all my fault.I fell for it.I fell for it.."I was on the verge of tears.I couldn't believe it.How could I be so foolish.Damn..

Lena?LENA!WAKE UP! I screamed in my head.

I prayed that she would wake up,or at least open herself to me,but nothing happened.

"What are we supposed to do?!We have to save her.Take me with you,offer me to them."he yelled at me.He began shaking me,but all I could do was stare in shock and in anger.

I quickly shook my head and stood up.

"No,you stay here,its too dangerous.Im going to find her."I said to him.

(Lena)
When I woke up,I was tied to a chair in the middle of a dark room. Above me was a single light shining down directly over me.

I tried to keep some part of my head calm,and not panic right away.I was alone and I didn't want to draw any unwanted attention yet.

All I could remember was getting in the car with Eli,but I figured by the looks of the ropes tied vigorously around my body,that his intentions were not good.

I had to escape wherever I was.I hadn't gone to the witch coven,because the smell of chlorine almost suffocated me.

I tried to glance around and see anything that could help me escape,but all I saw was darkness.

Deep within me,adrenaline began coarsing through my veins,emanating this massive power deep within.I could escape,I know I can.

"Are you awake now Lena?"Eli asked from the darkness.His voice echoed off the walls,giving no clear direction as to where it was coming from.

"Who are you?"I asked.
If I could keep him at bay by talking,it would give me more time to contemplate my escape.

"It's so unfortunate that you hate us Elaine.My daughter didn't do too well explaining why we wanted you."he said.

"Daughter?Wait...that means-"

"Yes Elaine,I am your blood.Its nice to finally meet you,but unfortunately you won't be able to stick around for long because you have to die.Im sorry that your meeting such a sad fate because of my ignorant and hormonal daughter."he said.The tone of his voice was gentle,maybe even sad.It didn't sound menacing,but it still didn't change my mind.

"Mom was trying to protect me from you all..your going to kill me because of something that happened in the past with one of my kind.You have no clue it works the same way!"I yelled at him with all my might,as if it could help me escape.

He laughed,and finally I saw him approaching me slowly,wearing dark pants a dark shirt and black dress shoes. His eyes burned a bright orange red,like a fire was flaming in his eyes.

He slowly got close to my face,observing me quietly and I looked straight into his eyes.I could feel heat radiating off of him,its like his whole body was fuming.

I shifted uncomfortably from his heat,and he seemed to notice.

"Too hot?You might want to get used to it,because that's how I have to rid you of this world."he said chuckling.

Fire?!That's his power! I didn't move though I simply tried as hard as I could to look devastated,i know my escape now.

He smiled at me and turned his back to me walk straight until I saw a door open and he walked out leaving me in the darkness.

Wrong move buddy.I closed my eyes,and tried to summon fire back to me.If my power was to mimic,now would be the perfect time to do so.

I felt the heat on my skin,and at first I didn't believe it would work,but slowly but surely,the brown tight ropes literally melted off of my body .

I glanced around once more,checking for cameras and once I could see none,I slowly stood and began creeping forward.

The more I walked away from my chair,the darker it got,and I could feel my adrenaline starting to take action.I fumbled around in the dark looking for the latch to the door,when suddenly I heard a voice so loud in my head I almost screamed.

LENA! It was Liam.I knew that voice all too well.

Liam?Is that really you? I asked in disbelief.Where in the hell was that fucking bastard?

No response.What the hell.I was imagining things then.Liam wouldn't come back from me.I shook my head trying to regain my focus.

I felt the door,and just melted it.There was no point of trying to find the door anymore.

Outside the door,was a cliff,and the gray and black sky above me.It was humid and damp outside,and from down below I could hear an ocean. I slowly crept over to the edge and looked at the ocean and it's strong waves.

I had no clue where I was.
What I was doing.Where I was going.

Before I could try to continue my escape,I was grabbed by my hair from behind,and a loud shriek exploded my mouth.

My body became a ragdoll,as I flung in the air and landed on the hard ground with a thud on my stomach.I could feel the sharp pain spreading throughout my stomach.Tears sprang to my eyes,and then everything began moving in slow motion.

I looked up,trying to see who it was,and it was him again,smirking at me.My.vision was blurry with tears,and then I noticed the body he had lying beside him on the ground.

It was my mother.

"MOM!"I screamed as loud as I could.

She stirred slightly letting out a soft moan,but didn't open her eyes.She was out cold.

I tried to stand up,but two sets of arms grabbed me and held me there tightly.I instantly tried to use my new power but it didn't work.It was no use. They didn't move.

I looked to my right and left to see two women,twins,holding me with a sly smile.They both had thick red auburn hair and dark brown eyes.For them to be so strong they were also thin and tiny almost like a child.

I glanced back at my mother who was now in Jarro's arms,he kissed her head sweetly.

"For the abomination you brought in this world...you meet your fate."he whispered.

Before I could blink,before I could try to move again,he took his hand that was not holding her,and slammed it straight through her chest, blood exploding from her body like a firework.

Her eyes jumped open widening in fear and she whimpered loudly,then she didn't move anymore,and with that,he threw my mother's lifeless body off the cliff.

Hey guys sorry for the wait on this update! I got a job and school and my YouTube channel and this to keep up with so.... yeah. But I promise I will finish this out with a huge bang.
