Liam (POV)

Before we left, Lena and I searched the area for more clues.I could tell Lena was deep in thought, perhaps trying to come up with the right words to say when she arrived at the destination.

I left her to her thoughts, because even though Lena was thinking about a lot,her mother had just passed and that was something that was tearing her up inside.

She was trying to push it down, the grief and desperation and replace it with determination, the goal for her was to stop this hate going around.

Maybe it would work..
I allowed myself to hope that it would.

I had to make sure I didn't fail her this time. I wouldn't make that same mistake again.

The only clues we ended up finding was her mother's bracelet, which was silver with pink roses aligned around it.When Lena picked it up, she held it tight to her chest and just closed her eyes.

I could see her battling the urges to cry, trying to be strong and I was in awe of her, but I could only hope it didn't backfire on her.

She opened her eyes after a moment and looked at me.
"Let's get out of here..I want to shower and at least sleep, and I'm really thirsty.."she said to me.

As she said this her eyes flashed a black color, then returned to normal. The hell? I frowned as I gazed at her and she stared back at me with the same unknowing gaze.

"Thirsty? You want some water?"I asked her.

She shrugged,as if she really didn't know if that's what she was meaning by thirsty.

"I feel the back of my throat..burning.. like I've never drank anything.. it's beginning to become unbearable."she whispered.

I nodded."Your cravings are beginning to kick in.. you want blood."I say to her.

Her eyes lowered as she pondered this, then she nodded.

Lena stuck her hand through the bracelet and walked up to me,and I grabbed her hand and stared at her.

Her eyes began to travel down my throat, watching my every move. She was craving my blood.

"Go ahead."I mumbled to her.

She glanced up at me,her eyes still black, longingly and hungrily.

She placed a kiss on my neck, then I felt her tongue trace a vein in my neck.

Before I could react to anything,Lena's teeth sank into my flesh.

It wasn't bad pain just uncomfortable, but Lena's noises of appreciation made me stay still.

How long had she been thirsty? How long had she been ignoring it?

After a few more seconds she slowly pulled back and looked down. Her mouth was covered in blood,my blood, and she looked up at me,and her eyes were a bright blue.

"I...I can't tell you how awful i feel..for taking your blood."
She whispered.

"Quit trying to pretend you don't need it." I said.

"I don't want to!"she screamed.

We both stood in silence then. I didn't know what to say to her.. or how to say it.

She sighed,"I'm sorry.. I'm sorry.. I need to calm down I'm just a little worked up about everything.."

I nodded in return not wanting to say much else. She was acting strange.. really strange, and I couldn't put my finger on what it was.

I held her against my chest, and then teleported us away from where we were.

We were standing in front of her uncle's house now,and as she glanced at it,tears welled up and spilled over.

"Why am I here?"she asked.

"Because Lena your hurting.Your uncle and Aunt can help you better than I can..plus I have some questions to ask your uncle about your father."I said.

Which was true. It had been nagging at the back of my head for a while now why Jeff was normal and his brother wasn't.

She nodded and widened her eyes at this news.
"True.. my uncle has never experienced any supernatural things.. good eye I hadn't really given that much thought."

As we knocked on the door,Lenas aunt held on to her and Uncle Jeff embraced her In a big bear hug.

Lena explained what happened to her mother, and Lena and her Aunt went out on the back deck to talk, leaving Jeff and I in the kitchen sitting at the counter.

"Thank-you for bringing Lena back safely."Jeff said giving me a stern look.

I nodded."It's not a problem. She's hurting and I bet some family time would help her more than me.I needed to speak to you anyways."I said to him.

"Okay fire away."he said crossing his arms over his chest.

"How is it..that your normal and your brother wasn't ?"

He smiled and looked down."In all honesty I had absolutely no clue that my brother was different.. but I guess it could have something to do with our biological parents. We were adopted not long after I was born, and I don't remember them, but one day after a big family fight not long after I was looking for a good job,my brother told me he could never talk to me again.. which I then called our parents and they said he was over reacting, but he never showed his face ever again. We thought he was dead a couple of times but then he'd randomly call and say that he was doing okay then hang up just as fast as he called."he said.

He took a drink of his water and then continued.
"After a while we stopped looking for him,and then one day I Did some digging trying to find my biological parents, and found out there was no paperwork on them.. I don't even know their names. One day my brother called again and I asked him what had happened that made him disappear and he then said and I quote, 'I was chosen to keep our bloodline going' and that was the last I've ever heard from him."he said

I nodded absorbing all of this information.

"I'm guessing they sealed your powers forever and gave them to your brother.. that's my best bet."I murmured.

Jeff frowned,"Look I love my life with my wife,I love being who I am and have no desire what so ever for my powers to be .. unsealed.. but if I can help Lena do whatever she's trying to do,then maybe I need to do it."Jeff said.

I glanced at him with shock.I couldn't do that to Lena..to Jeff..Jeff is a werewolf for that I am sure, his powers are sealed just as Lena's were and he's already figured it out..but maybe having him on our side would be a good thing.

Then what happened just recently with Lena's mother made me think otherwise.Maybe I should just leave Jeff as he is.

"Look you don't have to let Lena know.. just tell her I have no clue why I am normal..but just keep me in the back of your head..I could help you out Liam."

I nodded and he reached his hand across the table to shake mine.

I would keep this information to myself for now..

Unsealing Jeff would be a back-up plan that only be used if the werewolves have a problem with Lena, but for now we still had the vampires to worry about.

So Yes I'm coming at you with another update . What do you think of Lena's strange behavior? And what about Jeff being a werewolf...or is he a werewolf?mwahaha. What do you think Liam should do as far as unsealing Jeff's "instincts"
Leave a comment and a like and I'll catch you all in the next update. :3
