Burned

Chapter Fifteen: Disappear

Before this starts I want to let you know that there is a little description of the chapter at the end kind of explaining Lena's actions for doing what she does so check it out if you dont understand.

(Lena's POV)
I opened my eyes to discover that I was alone.I fumbled along the sheets looking for him,then sat up and smiled to myself.

My cheeks began burning thinking about what had happened not too long ago,but I shook it off and Got up and put on some sweat pants and a T-shirt.

I heard a strangely familiar voice laughing and talking but I couldn't pinpoint exactly who it was.

I started walking down the hall and then I saw Liam with his back to me,his hands in fists,and I felt his anger.

The hell?

I walked up to him and then everyone in the kitchen turned to stare at me.

I saw Jeff standing there as well with a guilty look on his face.

Liam looked shocked as of he'd seen a ghost.

Then I saw why.There was a man standing there wearing some black pants and a black jacket,dark brown hair and green emerald eyes,but his cheekbones looked like mine and his nose looked like mine as well.

His face was almost literally mine.

"Elaine?"the man whispered in shock at me.

"Who are you?"I demanded.

"Your father."

I tuned everything out.
What in the hell? So both parents were alive this whole time?Hiding from me!?

I thought about my mother and anger began to coarse through me. If he had been here with her she wouldn't have died. He shows up after she's dead?

"Why are you here?"I snapped at him.

He smiled,"Well you are the vampire Queen,and I'm here to tell you that its not possible for you to rule,you need to hand over the throne to someone more suitable.The twins-"

"I don't fucking care about it anymore. The twins can do whatever the fuck they want. You can get the hell away from me because you showed up after mom is dead.Everyone can just leave me alone! I didn't ask for this! I was just trying to work and save money!"Tears were pouring down my face at this point.

My feelings I had been holding back were just going awry.

Liam stared at me in complete shock. Everyone stood in silence.

My father stared at me,tears pooling in his eyes.

"S..she's dead?"he whispered.

He didn't know? I immediately felt horrible for what I'd said.But still it made no sense for him to fake death for whatever fucking reason and leave my mom alone.

"Yes. Killed by Jarro,and he killed by me."

His tears escaped his eyes,"Elaine..I'm so sorry I thought I was protecting-"

"No.Im done. No more apologizing. I don't know who the good guys even are at this point! If you guys cant even fucking tell me the truth about little things that matter what makes me trust any of you?!"

Again everyone stood in shock.Liam tried to rub my arm but I stepped away from him.

"No Liam.Just stop."I sobbed.

I needed time to myself. I didn't care anymore they could kill me if they wanted to. Since nobody wanted to help me the correct way,id help them and just leave.
