(Liam's POV)
As I stared at the house Lena grew up in,I felt oddly better in a way that I knew this was somewhere she'd been, some place she called home, and some place that was for a while safe.I could see the lights inside on,the truck and cars sitting outside. They were home..
I went about over and over how many ways I was supposed to do this.'Hey,the people looking to kill Lena are coming here to kill you both and I'm supposed to keep you alive because your all Lena has.'
I shook my head.I was just going to have to wing it at this point. I had to make sure that they lived,Lena was my heart and my world. If I was to die, this was how it was supposed to happen.
It was nearly eight in the evening, and I was exhausted, but I had one more thing to do before I finally closed my eyes.
With all the courage I could muster,I walked to the front door and knocked three times.
Who opened the door was nobody other than her Uncle Jeff.He gave me a strange confused look, and then crossed his arms over his chest. He looked so much like his older brother, and for a minute it reminded me of Lena's father.
"Can I help you sir?"He asked in a grave voice.
I cleared my throat hoping for the best.
"Sir,my name is Telliam.I am a good friend of Lena's."I said.Automatically his expression turned from stern to sad, obviously missing her.I could see tears begin to well in his eyes.
"Please come in."he said moving out the way and motioning me in.I smiled softly and walked inside heading to the couch to have a seat.
Lena's aunt stood up from the recliner staring at me also with tears in her eyes. They loved her.It was obvious they did.I never had parents who loved me like they do to Lena.
"Where is Lena? How is she doing?"he asked me as I sat.
I glanced at him and sighed,"She's in danger still. Her mother and her were separated soon after leaving here,i got there just in time to save Lena. Now,you guys are in danger, and because I know how much she loves you,I am here to keep you safe."
They both were silent, then horror flashed through his eyes.
"So Lena has no clue that you are doing this? You left her so that way she wouldn't stop you?"he asked me.I laughed at him,it was so Lena. She would stop me and try to figure out another way.
"Precisely, she'll be okay with out me,but your all she has.I won't let anything happen to you both."I say in the strongest voice I could muster.I would.I vowed to do just that.I would not fail keeping them alive.
(Lena's POV)
I felt empty.Like I was breaking down on the inside, but on the outside I was just moving.Like a robot.I kept pushing my thoughts out to anyone who could hear.Mostly trying to contact my mother.I kept calling the house phone at my Uncle's each time I stopped Liams car,but no reply.I really wish I had taken my cell phone with me.
I kept asking myself the same question. How could he?Why did they keep leaving me?It was like everyone in my life just wanted to let me down or disappear for my own good.
In this case,That's exactly what happened.
I kept my eyes focused on the road trying desperately to keep myself in control.
Alone..I feel so alone.I want my mother..I want Liam..
Those thoughts just kept running through my head, even though I was trying desperately to stop it.
I was about twelve hours away from home.I just kept praying I'd make it.
I looked at my gas needle, and of course I was running toward E,so I decided to make a quick stop at a gas station.
As I walked inside to pump the gas,I noticed a black SUV,parked out front with a strangely familiar man leaning against the back.
He had light blue eyes and dark black hair that hung half way down his back.He wore a dark sweater and dress pants that were a dark grey along with grey dress pants.
He looked at me and smiled nicely.
I shivered involuntarily but offered him a slight smile and tried to make my way inside.
"So,Liam left you huh?What a ass hole."he said.
I stopped and stared at him with wide open eyes.
"Wh-what?Who are you?"I asked.
He smiled."My name is Eli,and I am a dark witch from the coven.I was sent to make sure Liam stayed with you at all costs, but looks like he is rushing away from you.I am here to help you,if you would like me to."He said in a genuine tone.
He seemed to be looking at me in concern. All I could do was stare in shock.I nodded though.
"Liam is a coward."He spat out.He walked over to his passenger side door and opened it,then he looked at me,waiting for me to climb in.
"Go ahead and get in,I've got to make the call to the coven so they know your in my care then I'll get in and we'll be on our way to your uncle."he said with a bright smile.
He was so nice, but something kept telling me to keep my guard up.I could also see his aura, which was glowing a dark green.Hmm,not one that I've seen before.
I got in though and decided to just leave Liams ride there. It didn't matter anyways. When I sat down he shut the door and I watched him go the back and pull out his phone.
In an instant,i began feeling sleepy, exhausted to the point where my eyes wanted to close.I kept fighting the sudden tiredness but my eye lids eventually won.
(Jarro)
I watched Lena's eyes close and I smiled to myself. There was no mistaking those eyes, that beautiful crown of black hair like her mother.I finally had her,and thanks to Liam,he fell right into my trap.As if I'd ever trust him.I headed back home, feeling giddy, almost laughing. What a stupid girl. Her and her parents, all thinking they can get away with what they've done.
I decided that I'd make this fun.
I picked up my phone and decided to let Liam see his sleeping beauty in my hands.
Snapping a photo of her,I sent it to Liam, then rolled the window down and threw the phone out of the window.
This battle would end soon.Poor little Lena.
