Chapter Fourteen:
~*Katalina*~
Aric only stayed for a few hours after their conversation. Something told Katalina their conversation had something to do with that.
After he left, she realized she need a nice, long walk to clear her head. She couldn't care less about the homework for school. Her breath made white puffs as it exited her mouth.
She passed the small cafe that she'd first met Aric and hissed, she was trying to clear her head! Not cloud them with thoughts of Aric! She walked faster passed the cafe and to a local park.
Katalina stopped when it came into view. The park she was at now was about a mile from her house, maybe two. How long has she been walking?
She leaned against a tree in the park, watching as the night grew darker. About thirty minutes after getting lost in thoughts, she turned back towards her house to do the homework she'd neglected.
She put her hands in her pockets and began walking. Katalina felt something watching her. She looked around, eyeing everyone. But not one person was staring at her.
Katalina sighed. She was just paranoid. As she passed an alley, a rough arm tugged her into the alley. She screamed, but someone clamped a hand on her mouth.
"Scream and I slit your throat." A rough voice hissed in her ear. Katalina felt bone-deep fear.
"I can feel your emotions, but only your deep ones"
Oh, Aric, I hope you can feel me now, Katalina thought. The guy pushed Katalina roughly against the brick wall. "What do you know about Paul, Jillian, and Aric Jenson?"
Katalina felt her eyes widen. His hand was still on her mouth. Not that she would answer. The guy smacked her head hard against the wall. "Bitch, answer me!"
Katalina screamed for help. "HELP!" But no one would hear her, and even if they did, who would come to her rescue?
"Katalina Johnson..." The guy purred. He let his hand drop, but put a knife to Katalina's throat, as if daring her to scream.
"How do you know my name?" She whispered, pulling her neck up, trying to shrink away from the knife.
The guy slapped her cheek. "I ask the questions! Not you!" He screamed at her.
Aric had to have felt her fear now. Please, she thought. "OK," she croaked.
"Man, you are beautiful, I wonder...But your human!" He whispered in disbelief.
"Hayden!" A voice bellowed from behind the guy--Hayden. Hayden closed his eyes and sighed. "Thinking about killing her by yourself? Yeah?"
Hayden opened his eyes and glared at Katalina. "Jared." Then to Katalina: "Ignore his presance, it'll dissapear." Katalina didn't move. "Now, answer the question!"
"I-I don't know them!" Katalina cried breathlessly.
"Bitch--!" Hayden yelled.
"HAYDEN! Yelling at her won't make her answer!" Jared yelled, pulling Hayden off of Katalina. Hayden moved away, stumbling. Jared punched Katalina; she heard a sickening crunch. "You have to hurt her."
Hayden laughed from behind Jared. "Oh this? This is going to be fun." He said, stalking foward. Katalina felt her heart drop. She was done for. Katalina was in shock, not feeling the pain.
"HAYDEN! JARED! What the HELL are you two--?" The third guy walked up, stopping when he saw Katalina pinned against the brick wall with blood dripping from her nose. Her face was scunched up, as if waiting for the next hit. When she whimpered, Hayden stepped forward and punched her in the jaw, she went slack and sank to her knee's.
"Shut up, bitch!" He screamed at her body. Her eyes drifted closed. Katalina watched the guys through her droppy eyelids. Hayden stepped froward to the third guy. "Kellen."
Kellen quirked a brow at Hayden. "Hayden, what are you doing?"
"Bitch won't tell us anything," Jared grumbled, shooting a death glare at Katalina. She moaned as a shot of pain rocketed through her. "Shut up!" Katalina tried to shrink closer to the wall. It didn't work, but she bit her lips so that she didn't whine about the unbearable.
"Why?" Kellen questioned, crossing his arms. "Are you guys finally losing it?"
Hayden waved his hand. "Please, I've already lost it. I'm a Rouge, Kellen. But so are you and Jared."
Jared rolled his eyes. "Guys?" They looked at him. "We have a guest!" Katalina felt the pressure of each of their glares as they turned to look at her.
She didn't want to be the center of attention, it might make her die sooner. Hayden pulled her up against the wall, dangeling in the air. She peered at him threw heavy lids. Hayden slapped her across the cheek. She didn't flinch. Everything was numb now. "Listen to me once, slut, and once only! What do you know about the Jensons'?"
Katalina watched him. It was like a light touched her heart, confidenece ran through her. She loved Aric. She LOVED him. With what she had in her, she pursed her lips and then spat in Hayden's face. "SCREW YOU."
~*Aric*~
Aric felt Katalina's fear, determination, and, scarily of all, her love for him. Love? Love for him?! That was NOT supposed to happen.
But that didn't mean he was going to stand by when she was surely in trouble. He followed her scent, running. "SCREW YOU!" Aric heard Katalina yell, seeming breathless. He raced over to the small alley.
He heard a thump as he came to a stop in front of the alley. Katalina was on the floor, her face covered by her blond, blood matted hair. He hissed.
She was alone, no one around her. Aric ran to her side, moving her hair. "Katalina..." Aric whispered, close to her ear.
She moaned, but didn't do anything else. Aric picked her up, which earned him another groan, causing him to flinch. She was in pain. Her nose looked crooked; Aric hissed in madness.
Her carried her across the road and through another alley to get to the woods, where his house was.
He burst into his house's door with a glare on his face. His mother stood as she saw him. "Aric! Katalina!"
She rushed to out of the room, making it clear that Aric was to follow her. He did, carrying his mate, hoping he wasn't too late to save her.
"Aric! Put her on this bed and step away!" His mother ordered. Aric placed his mate on the bed, cursing himself for not being there when she really needed him. He took a step away. But it was a very small step.
Jillian Jenson patted Katalina's hair down, glancing at her way too peaceful face. Jillian knew she had to save Katalina, she knew she had to. She knew that Katalina had already had one accident, one that Jillian knew very well, and she wanted to help. Again.
A/N: Ah, the "Accident" has been neglected, and here, here I bring back into play. Love you guys:) Whoever you guys are:D (Not edited, I don't edit much, too much work, me lazy:))
