I played with the ends of my long black hair while the sound of talking filled the room.

"Hey. ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?" Luna boomed through
the room.

I looked up at him and continued to play with the ends of my hair. He pushed himself from his desk chair and walked up to me.

"Sia. Look at me," he said leaning closer to me. His breathing was so close that I could smell his fresh scent.

It's been a year and three months. 15 months since my so-called silver haired friend left me. Kai, where are you? I thought you said that you would watch my back.

Luna's hand tipped my chin up and he looked into my eyes. He leaned down and pecked my cheek. "Just go do your mission."

"I was thinking of something," I told him. He slipped his hands into his pants pockets.

"Oh yeah, and that is?" he lifted his eyebrows.

"That I've been 'dating' you for over a year. We have never fought at all and you always give me gifts that I end up burning anyways," I said folding my arms across my chest.

He laughed. "Because you're my girl! I have to treat my woman."

I gave him a disgusted look and walked out of his office. "Don't forget! Come back to me in one piece!"

I ignored his concern. Luna Corp. has treated me well. The agents stopped flirting with me as the word spread that me and Luna were going steady.

Even with the confirmation of our 'relationship' it doesn't stop all the love letters I find on the floor inside my room. Especially all the jewelry boxes that I 'happen' to 'find' over the past couple of months.

My only acquaintance is Luna and the rest I haven't bothered to remember. My mind doesn't keep unnecessary information locked up there.

One thing that comes across my mind everyday is what happened to Kai. Why hasn't he come to visit me?

The whole emotion and feeling thing is messing me up in the mind but I'm learning to deal with it.

"Yeah, I'm here to escort......Miss.....Miss....Miss....Miss Xania!" I said to the desk attendant remembering the name.

The mission is to escort an important person: Xania Bautista, to Washington D.C. for important business affairs.

"Xania! Valensia is here for you now!" the attendant yelled towards the back.

I expected an elderly woman to come out of the back door, but I was wrong. Xania was an attractive woman.

She looked like she was in her mid-30s or maybe younger. Her layered styled hair was a dark black shade, like mine, and cut below her shoulder. She wore a stylish black suit and black heels to match. She removed her sunglasses and revealed her golden colored eyes.

"Hello dear. Well you're pretty young to be protecting me," she said examining me.

I gave a small fake smile and led her to the black cadillac. We both sat in the back seat while the driver set our destination to Washington D.C.

I kept quiet for half the ride until Xania started to make small talk with me.

"How old are you? You look so beautiful!" she wondered.

"I'm 19 years old," I responded. I stared out the window.

"Are you single?" she asked out of curiousity. I was going to say yes, but then I remembered that I was fake dating Luna.
