I opened my eyes and gasped. I did not expect to be placed outside in the middle of winter. I looked at my surroundings. It was Central Park? It was another park.
"I beat up my body guards. I had to see you again. I had to see you again for Christmas," Xania was gasping for breath like she ran a mile.
I assumed she ran all the way from Luna Corp. to Central Park to meet Orion.
He cupped her face in his mittened hands and kissed her nose. "My brother is covering for me right now. Let's spend Christmas together a second year in a row."
"Oh, I didn't get you a Christmas present!" she gasped at her rudeness. He still had her in his hands.
He looked right into her golden eyes. "I can't get enough of you and your golden eyes. It's like looking at Orion's Belt in the sky. They shine so beautifully."
Xania blushed. The snow was falling lightly around them. I watched them hold each other in the cold night.
She was burying herself into his winter coat. "I don't want to lose you. You're my world. You make me feel alive. I love you."
I could tell he tensed up when she said those last three words. I've never said 'I love you' to someone and actually meant it. You just know she meant it when she said it right then.
"I love you too"
They were the only ones in the park at this time of the night. The lamp posts were their only light.
It was literally a scene out of a movie. The lighting was perfect. The snow fall was just right. The air was crisp.
I blinked and the setting was different. I was surrounded by bright lights and probably thousands of people.
It was Times Square on New Years Eve. There were so many people dressed with festive hats and had horns.
Out of the corner of my eye. I saw the two lovebirds. Xania and Orion. There should be some type of ship name for that.
Xorion.
Orania.
Xion.
Onia.
Okay, I'm going to stop because those sound terrifying.

They kissed.
A typical New Years kiss at Times Square. I've never been to one of these. I didn't care that much to leave my room and walk all the way out to be crowded by thousands of people who would bump and thrash into me.
Looking at them.. It makes me want to do something like this. To know that you're always going to have that one person.
It kind of reminded me of a certain someone with silver hair and a mask.
I reached for my hand and fumbled for my ring. It still wasn't there. I felt like I missed a piece of myself.
I reached to the neck and felt the opal necklace. I know I'll always have that.
I blinked my eyes and I was flashed to a room with Killian and Orion. They were talking about something inconsequential.
I just want to know how this love story ends. I have so many theories.
