The feeling of cold shackles around my wrists and ankles. My mouth was dry from lack of water. My body felt beat up, but I still had clothes on. I pried my eyelids open slowly and my vision was slowly becoming clear.
I was in some type of cement prison. It was dark in here but the window above allowed some light to shine through. My chains were bound to the wall, but I could easily break them off.
I stood up from the ground and walked towards the light, but I was pulled back by my chains. I grabbed the chains and wrapped them around my hands. I pulled them loose from the wall, but not completely off.
Footsteps were crashing on the floor towards my cell. "My love!" I could hear Luna yell. He ran to the cell bars and shaked them. "I'm so glad I found you! Are you ok?"
He's lying.
"Shut up."
"Huh? I've come to rescue you!" he exclaimed trying to pry the cell doors open.
"Why would you come to rescue me, if you are the one who put me here," I responded.
"What?! What do you mean? I would never hurt my girlfriend!" he panicked still trying to open the cell.
"Stop. Just, stop. You're acting skills are atrocious. To top it off, I can see the cell keys dangling from your pants," I pointed out. He stopped shaking the cell doors and looked down at his pants.
Luna grabbed the keys and unlocked the cell door. "You're a smart one. How'd you know it was me?"
"I've been on to you from the moment I walked into Luna Corp. Your eyes said it all. It said 'don't trust the guy who just wants to get into your pants' so I just played along," I said. I grabbed the chain on my right hand and yanked it out of the wall. A piece of the wall came out with the chain.
"How did you-"
"Are you forgetting? I'm the best of the best. You can't take me without my permission," I snapped back. I swung the chain at him and he dodged it.
"Let me explain-"
"No, you no don't have the right to explain anything to me. I'll have fun choking my first ever boyfriend though," I smirked. I felt my emotions creeping back into a dark hole. I was wrong to start feeling.
It's not real. None of it is real. Happiness. Love. Joy. What was I thinking?
I grabbed the chain on my left hand and yanked that one out of the wall and swung it right at Luna. I was free. He dodged it but I jumped right on him.
My anger fueled my strength and the chains connected to my ankles broke off when I lunged at Luna.
We fell to the ground, he cushioned my fall and he yelped.
"Valensia Cervantes. Stop." someone said.
I almost connected my fist to his jaw and I froze. Who would ever call me by my full name?
I looked up and saw a set of golden eyes.
"You."
The position me and Luna were in, made it seem like we were about to have sex. I was on top of him straddling him and he was under me groaning from the pain of me tackling him.
"What are you doing here Xania?" I asked her. Her heels clicked the floor as she made her way towards me. Luna grabbed my wrists and he pinned me to the cement wall.
This guy is really getting on my nerves. He looked right into my eyes and I could tell he wanted to just kiss me. He pinned me tight to the wall, his body was pressed up against mine.
