Chapter 9 Sweet Golden Friendship

I do have interests and hobbies. I may don't seem at all like an interesting person but I do have a life away from being a spy.

I have mentioned that I compared Kai to Kakashi Hatake from the anime Naruto. I watch a few shows from time to time when I'm tired of training.

I can sing, but not outside of my living space. I give great vocal performances to my shower head and that's it.

Also, I also enjoy nature. Trees, the sun, cloud filled-skies. Animals are cute too.

"Valensia, what are you thinking of?" Xania asked me intruding my thoughs.

I was gazing out the window looking up at the clouds. I was always locked up when I worked at F.H.Q. but with Luna Corp. I was free.

"I'm looking at the clouds" I told her. She pouted and leaned closer to me.

"You're thinking of that silver haired masked boy aren't you?" she speculated. I turned my head in her direction. "He seems nice. Did he give you that?" she said pointing to the ring on my finger.

"He did," I responded.

She smiled and opened her mouth. "Aaah, I see. He has the same one on his finger so I thought you guys were married but I remembered you're with Luna."

Oh yeah, Luna. Almost forgot about that purpled eye sex freak.

"No, we are...friends," I said hestitating when I called Kai a friend.

He has my back and I'll have his.

We walked into the Ikea passing the aisles full of assorted items. I led the way to the door leading to the agency building.

The same white suited woman sat at the desk and smiled at our arrival. "Welcome back Sia. Xania Bautista." she greeted both of us.

I walked past her and ignored her greeting. Xania shook the woman's hand and caught up behind me. I found Luna's office and he was, as usual, head deep in paperwork.

I pushed the glass door open and his head shot up at the sound. He stood up with joy seeing I was ok.

"My love!" he said running to me. He picked me up and twirled me around.

This is how he was everytime I came to his office to report how my mission went.

"Put me down you fool," I snapped at him. He nuzzled his face in my hair and breathed me in.

"I know I know but I'm glad you're ok!" he exclaimed. He set me down on the ground and fixed his suit.

"When am I never not ok? And I completed my mission so just give me my pat already," I said holding my hand out for my money.

"Now now Sia, we aren't in a rush," he calmed me down. He turned to Xania. He opened his arms. "Xania."

She smiled and went into his arms and hugged him. "Luna, it's been far too long." She broke the hug and looked my way. "You caught a lucky one here. She is very strong and not to mention very pretty."

I folded my arms across my chest and waited for their reunion to be finished. I just want to take a shower and train more.

"If you're not going to give me my pay now, just come to my room and drop it off," I said leaving them both to catch up on whatever.

Being here for so long I was able to find my way through each hall and area. Before it was like a maze that I had to think hard about before turning a corner. Now, I had it all memorized.
