My sole purpose: to obey my mother, Xania Bautista.
Everything else, irrelevant.
My name: Sia Cervantes
"Sia, honey?" my mom called me back from my thoughts.
"Yes, mom?"
"Good, you still know who I am. Do you know who that man is?" she said pointing to the man standing next to me. He had purple eyes and black hair.
"No. Do you need me to do anything mom?" I asked her. She smiled brightly and pointed at my restraints to the chair.
"Break free and then kill that man," she commanded.
"As you wish."
My restraints were leather belts strapped around my ankles, wrists, and my neck. Then over the leather belts were inches thick of a metal cuff.
Easy enough.
I pulled my wrists and ankles from the leather restraints and broke through the metal cuffs. The struggle left cuts and indents into my skin.
I reached for the metal cuff around my neck and pulled it and unbuckled the belt around my neck.
The man next to me stood in amazement of my strength. Mom wanted him dead, so it shall be.
I tackled him and pinned him down. I went for his neck but he caught my hands. "Sia! Wake up, this isn't you! It's me! Remember? Luna? AZULI?"
I almost reached his neck until he kneed me in my stomach and pushed me off.
"I do not know who you are," I said as I chased him. He ran to a table full of weapons and grabbed a gun.
He gripped the gun in his hands and pointed it at me, "Don't make me shoot you!"
I kept walking towards him. I have to kill him. I have to.
He fired a shot but he just missed my ear. The bullet just scraped the skin on my ear.
I ran to him and he kept firing shots. I dodged all of them but then he shot my shoulder.
Luna kept pulling the trigger but there were no more bullets. He dropped the gun to the floor and turned around to grab another weapon but I was already too close.
"Sia! Don't keep mommy waiting! FINISH THE JOB!" I can hear my mom scream. I kicked Luna's back onto the table.
"You are weak. You only know how to defend yourself, that is why you're going to die," I said towering over him.
I jumped on top of him and grabbed the nearest knife. I tried to stab his head but he blocked the knife with his hand. His screams echoed off the walls.
"Sia! Please!"
I pulled the knife from his hand and tried again. He blocked it again. Another scream. I reached for another knife with my other hand and stabbed the side of his neck and pulled it out.
He choked on his own blood. I stabbed his neck again and again and again. He was trying to say something but nothing came out of his mouth besides blood.
I stood up from his dead body and walked over the scattered weapons and the knocked over table.
My mom was clapping because I killed that man. "Good job, honey! I am so proud of you!"
"He was weak. He deserved to be killed," I said in response. We were about to leave the premise before I heard footsteps in the distance.
I guarded my mom and held the knife in front of me. "Stay behind me, I'll protect you mommy."
