[3] Percy x Reader|| Teach me

You are the daughter of Aries.

"Hey Percy!" You Called out to your best friend as you walked towards the lake.
"Oh hey y/n." Percy said as he waved you towards the lake.
You walked towards the lake and stuck your feet into the sparkling blue water.
"So...watcha doing?" You asked, watching Percy as he swam around with in the water.
Why can't I do that?
"Nothin really." Percy said waving his hand away as if it was unimportant. "Why don't you come in and swim with me y/n?" He asked, swimming to the edge of the lake where your feet were.
Because I can't.
"Uh because I don't, umm...particularly care for it." You answered.
"I'd much rather enjoy the beauty of the water."
Percy nodded, and started to swim laps.
Then Chiron came around the corner.
"Y/n, I need you to go and calm Clarisse down please; she's having an anxiety attack."
He his peer the last part jut in case Percy heard. Because nobody really knows about Clarisse's anxiety except a select people in the Aries cabin.
I nodded and got up to leave, as I was putting my shoes on Percy surfaced the water again.
"Bye y/n!" He waved as I turned my back and left
~the next day~
"Hey y/n!!" Yelled Grover as he walked towards you, followed by Piper, Annabeth, Leo, and Percy.
"We're going to Annabeth's dad's cabin to swim. Wanna come with?" Said Leo as he made his way to the front of the group.
"Uh-Er n-no thanks." You stuttered as you turned away quickly and walked of.
You heard Percy sigh as the small group walked off.
The next morning you woke up and the first person in your head was Percy.
You quickly got up and dressed before running out of you cabin to find him.
"Percy!" You yelled in excitement as you ran up to him, he was eating blue pancakes and sitting with the rest of his friends.
"Mmh yeah y/n mph." His asked you with his mouth full and dripping blue.
You slightly recoiled in disgust but quickly fixed your expression.
"I need to talk to you." You told him, shifting your weight from foot to foot.
"In private." You added.
He gave you a worried look but nodded, he got up and followed you to the bushes.
"I-I can't." You sighed. "I can't swim." You said sadly, looking at your feet.
You looked back up to see him staring at you.
"Teach me." You told him as you grabbed his shoulder.
He looked at you for a moment as he contemplated what you were asking.
"Okay." He told you while his face broke out into a smile.
"Just let me eat and meet me by the lake, oh and wear a bathing suit." He called as he ran to his table.
You smiled, and yet you were so nervous.
You tried to shake it off and went to go find a bathing suit.
You had settled on a red one piece with white polka dots and ran outside to the lake.
Percy was already there, he was waiting on the edge where the land meets the water.
"Okay, I'm going to get in first and I want you to follow me...okay?"
You nodded as fear knotted you stomach.
You were going to die.
He slowly got in and you followed him hesitantly.
"Okay, I want you to just lay down on your back; I'm going to teach you how to float....I'll hold you up though." He said, he grabbed your hand and then put one hand on you lower Val and the other on the back of you neck.
He flipped your body and held you there for a moment.
After a few second you felt the cold water slowly cover you belly.
"OH MY GOD!!!! PERCY, IM DYING!!!!" You screamed as you flailed your arms and legs.
Percy grabbed a hold of you and gave you a hug.
"It's okay y/n I you be fine."
"Promise?" You asked.
"Promise."
You looked up at him.
"Swear on your life?"
He held you tighter.
"I swear on my life."
