that day at the strawberry patch where leo kissed you kept replaying in your head.
and the fact that it's been a week and you haven't talked since.
in fact you've been avoiding each other as much as possible, this isn't what you wanted.
you wanted it to be like the movies, where you kiss him and he realizes what he's missing.
where everything from that moment forward is magic.
but maybe magic isn't real.
thinking about all of this out you in a terrible mood, it distracts you.
"ugh y/n!" percy cried during sword practice.
he had you pinned up against the wall with his sword against your chest, again.
"sorry percy." you apologized, you walked to put your sword down.
"are you leaving?" he asked.
you turned to him and nodded.
"uhuh, it'll be dinner soon anyways." you looked over at the clock and rushed out as fast as you could.
as you ran out the door you came into contact with the solidness of another human.
falling to the ground you groaned.
"are you okay?"
you knew that voice, it belonged to leo valdez.
the blood rushes to your cheeks and you looked down at the dirt.
"mhm" you murmured.
"huh?" he asked.
you cleared your throat and spoke up.
"uh yeah, i'm fine."
"then why are you still on the ground?"
you sighed and picked yourself up, dusting off your shorts.
"i'm not." you stated.
you finally made eye contact.
you wanted to yell at him, asking what the hell is problem is to let you kiss him then leave you alone for a whole week.
you wanted to grab him and kiss him again, you wanted to tell him exactly how you feel about him.
you wanted it to be like the movies.
but you opened your mouth, and your stomach knotted up, it felt like someone was pressing on your chest.
"uh, y/n?" leo asked.
you scoffed.
"whatever valdez."
and you walked off, regretting everything that just happened.
