You loved Luke.
He said he loved you too.
But you knew better, he didn't love you.
He loved the fact that you loved him.
He loved the thought of you loving him.
It fed his pride and stroked his ego, every time you told him that you loved him he felt good about himself.
He felt that someone could finally love him.
He neglected you and ignored you.
But you still made yourself believe that he loved you.
But that voice in the back of your head.
It kept telling you, time and time again; that he was lying.
But the bigger voice, the voice that belonged to your heart old you; it told you that this was normal.
It said you have a healthy relationship, Luke jut wasn't good with feelings.
It told you to keep loving him.
And you did.
You loved him, no matter what he said or did.
Even though you know he was lying, you still loved him.
And right now you were in you cabin watching a movie and cuddling.
You looked up at him.
"Luke?" You asked.
He looked down at you with an unreadable expression.
"Lie to me again." You told him.
He looked away, not meeting your eyes.
"I love you."
