You were bisexual.
But due to your relationship with a guy, and you being a girl; it caused people to undermine you.
'You can't go to pride, you're in a HETERO relationship.'
Your opinions on LGBT topics were overlooked and insulted.
'You can't say that. You're dating a dude.'
And apparently you weren't part of the community.
"It doesn't matter. You're practically straight; you've never even dated a girl."
And it pissed you off.
You didn't need recognition to know you were a part of the community.
It just made you so heated that other people didn't realize it.
Even a few of your friends had casually undermined you.
'Well you are dating Jason so...'
Thinking about it all, you stormed of to god knows where.
And you screamed.
Nobody could hear you.
So you screamed.
Nobody could judge you.
And you laughed.
"I DONT NEED YOUR FUCKEN VALIDATION TO KNOW IM VALID YOU SHITHEADS!" You screeched, flipping off the world around you as you spun in a circle.
"Or maybe I do."
You Kay down in the soft grass and felt everything around you.
Because you've been told you didn't need validation, but you didn't need it.
You wanted it.
You wanted to fit in, to be loved by all the other cabins.
You wanted to feel valid.
You wanted to feel loved
You didnt want to feel insulted
Or pained
Or angry.
So, with a not so long; not so hard decision.
You walked out of god knows where and back towards camp.
Where you saw Jason.
A split second popped into your head when you thought. 'Maybe I shouldn't do this.'
But you were already to far in.
"Oh look at the raging hetero." A small pansexual from the Aphrodite cabin called.
"Oh look, a megabitch; you must get it from your momma." You smiled politely and sat on Jason's left side.
"Jason..." You trailed off.
"Yeah y/n?"
You sighed.
"I'm sorry if I've been distant, I've just had to make a really hard decision; even though it should've been easy as shit."
He looked at you, fear was present in his eyes.
It made you feel powerful, with the right words, and the right tone. People could believe whatever you want.
"I've decided...I'm happy where I am."
