Chapter 9 : Bittersweet of Life

Seungri condition still really weak since he wake up after surgery.Doctor said seungri's body still need to adjust with the surgery effect,so seungri not allowed to move or wake up from bed to make sure the stitches incision on his chest and left arm won't re open or get any infection. doctor told them seungri sometimes will feel breathless and dizzy when wake up so they make him to sleep more. seungri just looking at them try to said something but all they could hear just a whispering voice because seungri still too weak even for talk.

"Ri,don't worry ok,we will be right here for you." Seunghyun try soothing seungri that look sad when realize he was in hospital and already got heart bypass surgery. "you worry about the hospital bill?" Jiyong ask after watching seungri try to said something, seungri nodded weakly. "don't worry you paid it with your own money Ri,welcome back my secret song writer. thank you for give me a chance to say thank you, thank you to let me paid for all of your beautiful songs." Jiyong answer while smiling at seungri that look confused but close his eyes after he remember about last song that he give to his seunghyun hyung before fainted last time. "i though...i'll never...meet you... again hyung..." seungri whispering weakly while closing his eyes. "so you plan to hide it forever Ri? Become the secret songs writer? Did you know,i'm not just almost lost a talented songs writer,but also almost lost a friend, you say you will always welcome me as a friend in your house. but why you lie to me? I'm so scared when they told me you are dying." Jiyong crying hopeless and make the other feel sad too. "told you i'm dying? I'm even...try to forget it,because...i'm also scared hyung...so scared because...my limited time for life." seungri try to explain while Mrs Choi try to calming down seungri that still crying sadly. "don't say that Ri,you are not dying, you have to stay alive." Jiyong quickly wipes his own tears and soothing down seungri that crying and closing his eyes. they quickly call the nurse when the machine beeping a bit quickly and seungri look breathing more slowly. Nurse rush in and give an injection on seungri's arm and wait for few seconds until seungri breathe with normal pace again. "please don't let patient talk to much or feel sad it was bad for his condition. help him to hug tight this soft pillow if he coughing or sneezing because it will be really hurt at the surgery incision stitches." nurse explain before leave and make sure Seungri already fell into sleep. "please don't die Ri,you will stay alive,we will find the new heart for you. your family need you Ri,not like me." Jiyong feel sad whisper those words in seungri's ear before leave.

Doctor told them the good news and also the bad news after nurses remove the tubes to dried the fluids around seungri's heart from seungri's chest. the good news is Seungri's heart bypass surgery was success without infection or side effect and seungri will stay alive until they could found new heart for him. but the bad news make all of them feel sad,seungri have to sit on the wheelchair and not allowed to walk or stand more than 15 minutes because his condition was really weak. They also have to make sure incision on seungri's chest and left arm clean and dry. they also have to make sure seungri didn't catch any cough,fever or cold because it will make seungri feel the pain on his chest. breathless and easy to get tired was the side effect that sometimes could happen so they have to make sure seungri got enough rest and less his daily activity.

"Ri,you will stay in my house until you get new heart transplantation ok." Jiyong said after doctor allow seungri to leave the hospital a week since the surgery. "what?! No,i want to go home hyung." seungri try to argue even his voice still weak. "Jiyong,but Ri will go back with us to village." Mrs Choi said while packing their cloths. "aunty,uncle and seunghyun hyung,all of you could stay together with Ri in my house too. Aunty,doctor said Ri need to staying in clean room with air conditioner and cold right? We have to make sure he stay healthy until the next surgery and my house have few extra bedrooms. Uncle your office was at Seoul too and it was near from my house. Seunghyun hyung also work with me,so everyone is more easy take care of seungri in my house." Jiyong explain happily and make all of them sigh with all the fact that jiyong told them. "but,we couldn't burden you Jiyong,We still didn't know until when Ri will get the new heart." Mr Choi try to refuse. "uncle, please... I leave alone,just give me chance to feel the family touch again please?! Aunty you also could cook like in your own home,please?! My eomma never cook anything for me, please aunty will you take care of me like you take care of seunghyun hyung and Ri?! Please?!" Jiyong pleading and smile happily after saw all of them agree except seungri. "hyung,you are cheating." seungri pout and make jiyong stick out his tongue and make the others laugh.

Youngbae come to drive them back to Jiyong's house,the big and luxury house but was poor with love. Jiyong look smile happily after youngbae help him sent seungri to his new bedroom in the second floors,Mr Choi and Mrs Choi got bedroom next to seungri's bedroom while seunghyun also have his own room in the third floors the same floor with Jiyong's room. "you never smile like this before Ji,did they really special to you?" youngbae after finish help jiyong move out all bags from the car. "yes they are,i'm really jelous with their happiness Bae,not like me,rich but poor in love. eomma even never ask or talk to me. sometime i feel Ri is more lucky than me. dying but all his family really love him and care of him." jiyong answer and sigh. "Ji,don't think like that." youngbae feel regret to ask. "is ok,that is the fact Bae we couldn't change that." Jiyong smile bitterly and walk inside.Youngbae saw jiyong's back that always look sad and lonely but this time he saw jiyong look more happily. "if that kid could teach you the happiness of life i will say my thank you to him Ji. you deserve better life not the lonely life like this Ji. God please don't let him down again this time." youngbae whisper after saw his friend walk inside the house.

since seungri and his family stay in Jiyong's house,Youngbae saw jiyong more cheerful than before. Youngbae also feel touching Mrs Choi invite him to eat together with them even when he didn't have schedules for Jiyong. he saw jiyong smile and laugh when he talk or teasing Seungri that still sit on the wheelchair since they leave the hospital. Seungri also really nice to him even he just a personal assistant for Jiyong. Youngbae smile when seungri start calling him Bae Hyung after know Youngbae is older than him.

Jiyong wake up after hear the main door bell ringing,he run to open the door after saw Mrs Choi still inside bathroom and taking bath,seunghyun hyung already leave for photoshoot and Mr Choi already go to office early morning. he quickly open the door to stop the bell ringing disturb seungri that still sleeping in his room. Jiyong pop out his eyes after saw his eomma stand infront the door when he open it. "eomma?!" jiyong ask unbelievable. "yes it's me,so who is that person that you hide inside huh?!" Mrs kwon ask with angry voice and make Jiyong that feel confused become angry. "what do you mean? Hide? I didn't hide all of my guest. they are my friend!" jiyong yell after realize his eomma just come for another fight. "shut up! So who is that bitch?! Try to fooled your money and popularity huh?! Just paid that bitch and set her free you idiot!" Mrs Kwon yell unhappily after hear jiyong argue back. "Mrs president nim,this is my private house! Please leave before i call the security! Bitch or not is not your bussiness! You never care then why now you pretend to care huh?!" Jiyong high voice make his eomma got shocked but push jiyong away from the door and walk in with anger. "if you go upstair,then all will end today! I will end all contract with Stars dream entertainment!" jiyong shout after saw his eomma went half way to upstair to seungri's bedroom.

"i'm so sorry to disturb you Mrs President nim,i think you already misunderstanding something here. my son Ri not a bitch,we never try to fool Your son's money.no wonder jiyong feel sad each time he remember you. He is your son why you didn't believe him?!" Mrs Choi said after she went out from bathroom and hear all of it. Mrs Kwon stop went upstair and walk down with anger. "eomma don't make me hate you more,please don't.Ri not a person like you said.he save my life you know that?! When you make me dying he save my life..." Jiyong crying sadly.Mrs kwon leave without say a single word and Mrs Choi quickly hug jiyong that crying harder and feel hurt with his eomma words. "i'm sorry...i'm so sorry aunty...it was my fault." jiyong cry but Mrs Choi pat his back tenderly "it wasn't your fault kid.be strong ok? I know you can do it.you still have us." Mrs Choi whispering while run her hand on jiyong's hair softly.now she understand why jiyong always feel sad and envy each time stay around seungri.poor kid that poor with love from his only one family even stay in the middle of glamour life.
