Chapter 18 : Past,Future and Mystery

Mrs Choi saw Jiyong almost crying after hear about seungri's condition from doctor.she holding on her son's hand,seungri that still laid unconscious and whispering sorry to seungri's ear. she decide to tell about the whistle to Jiyong,she carefully remove the whistle necklace from seungri's neck and drag jiyong out from the room with her.she saw her eldest son seunghyun try to stop her but she just shook her head as sign won't stop it anymore.

"Aunty,why you take away seungri necklace? Why i never know he wear a necklace?" Jiyong feel weird when got drag out from the hospital room and now both of them sit at the hospital park bench. "jiyong ah,we need to talk about you and seungri.you try to find back your lost memories right?" Mrs choi holding tight the whistle while try to calm down.Jiyong look got shocked but quickly nodded, "yes! Aunty how can you know about this? Please tell me if you know something...please tell me aunty." Jiyong beg and crying while saw Mrs Choi look hard to said it out. "our Ri,he waiting for you for 14 years, he always waiting for you to find him. Each time he got sick he always try to hold on it and survive just because he really wish to meet you before he die.i know Ri will hate me if he know i did this...but his time...his time is limited now.i can't watch my son dying while you still forget everything about him." Mrs Choi crying and put the whistle necklace on Jiyong's hands.Jiyong look more shocked saw the necklace and the whistle,suddenly all the memories flashback come to fill his head and he feel breathless try to holding back his tears.

Jiyong suddenly remember when first time he meet Seungri,that time he visit the orphanage with his mother and few reporters to give donation with their entertainment company name.he saw a cute kid standing alone and just stare at the toys that they bring for all the kids.Jiyong remember he saw that kid crying without sound while looking at all his orphan friends get their toys. "hei,you didn't get your toy?" Jiyong try to ask but that kid just run away from that room and crying alone near the river.Jiyong grab small teddy bear and chase that kid ignore his mother yell at him.

"why you crying? Hei don't cry ok? What is your name?" Jiyong ask but he just could give up when the kid stop crying but didn't say anythings.Jiyong smile when that kid pat tenderly the teddy bear on jiyong's embrace. "hmm look like you are mute,is ok don't be sad.here this teddy bear for you little guy." Jiyong smile when that kid look at him with his huge eyes.

since that time,Jiyong always visit the orphanage with his personal driver without his mother know about it.he become best friend with the mute kid. Jiyong feel happy he could make the mute kid smile,and become his hero hyung when the mute kid got bullied by other kids.after few weeks Jiyong find out the other kids always having fun make the mute kid crying.he got angry when one day he saw the other kids pushing the mute kids until fell down and threw the egg on him while teasing him as a mute doll. "Go away!! If all of you keep bully him,i'm gonna reports all of you to guardian sisters!" Jiyong shout after pushing away all the kids around the mute kid. "hei! Stop crying ok? Hyung is here,is ok they are gone don't cry." Jiyong hug the mute kid in his embrace.

all this time the mute kid never tell his name even several times Jiyong try to ask.the mute kid always love to hear jiyong talking to him,he just reply to Jiyong sometime with short words that he scribe on Jiyong's hand palm or he just smiling while pat on teddy bear in his embrace. "listen, if you sad just blew this whistle the wind will blew away your sadness.if you need me just blew it loud i will hear it too." Jiyong give his whistle necklace that he wear all these time to the mute kid.Jiyong laugh when the mute kid really blew it loudly infront of him. "that is good you could blew it to call me or Guardian sisters if the other kids bullying you." Jiyong pat on the mute kid head lightly and the mute kid pout at him.

Jiyong crying harder after got all the flashback,he didn't remember why he never visit that orphanage again.he didn't know why he forget all about Seungri that time.but now all he could remember just moment that he share with seungri the mute kid.Jiyong crying holding on the whistle while still try to remember more but all just stop like that. "aunty,that time i meet Ri in the orphanage house...that time he was mute right? How can? How can i meet him in the orphanage when now he have both of you as his parents? Why Ri never say anything about this? Why? Aunty please tell me..." Jiyong sobbing after saw Mrs Choi also crying infront of him. "so now you remember Jiyong ah? Seungri's parents is my classmate friends. both of them bring seungri to the hospital that time, but...but their car got into an accident.both of them die and left seungri alone. that kid got a terrible trauma and become mute.he got move into orphanage house before we comeback to Seoul and find out about that accident. my husband and me searching him in all orphanage.we are really lucky to find him and adopt him as our son.but he is dying...we try to keep him alive and take care of him like our own son." Mrs Choi explain to Jiyong and make the young man got more shocked with the news. "Ri was hopeless and weak,he give up to fight. That time we find out he really wish to die with his parents in that accident. He give up more when got sent back to Orphanage house by few differents adopt parents just because they find out about his weak heart disease.we try to cheer him up until we find out about his whistle necklace and the promise that make him still waiting.he just try to keep alive for your promise. Ri still waiting for you Jiyong ah...but he really sad when know you forget about him." Mrs Choi try to finish her words and holding back her tears.

"i'm so sorry...i shouldn't forget about him...i didn't mean that...i'm so sorry." Jiyong sobbing and cry harder when Mrs Choi hug him and tenderly pat on his back. "is ok,we know you didn't mean that.Ri also know about that Jiyong ah...he give you the clue because still wish you will remember again.just don't let him sad Jiyong ah, our Ri already suffer enough all these time." Mrs Choi whisper soothing the crying jiyong in her embrace.

Both of them try to calming down their emotion and wipes their tears before went back to seungri's room in hospital. "Jiyong, hmm about seungri's parents is my husband friend and also my friends, seungri didn't know about it.would you keep it as secret from our Ri? He is our son now, we don't him feel sad when he remember about his parents." Mrs Choi ask before they walk in.Jiyong nodded and promised won't mention anything about that.

"Ri,you have to wake up to blew this whistle again...you have to give me the second chance kid." Jiyong try to smile while watching seungri still unconscious with oxygen tube and few wire on his chest.he smile and crying in the same time when saw seungri open his eyes and and looking at all of them in that room while smile weakly. Jiyong quickly hide the whistle in his pocket before seungri saw it.Jiyong just didn't want seungri got another shock in his weak condition.he will wait until seungri allowed to leave hospital or until seungri could wake up and strong enough to talk with him about their forgotten promised and the whistle necklace.all them feel glad could saw seungri open his eyes and smile again.
