Chapter 11 : Life is a Gift

Seunghyun just back after finished his photoshoot schedules,he rush back after hear his eomma call about Ri.He forget to buy the soft cake that Ri wish to eat because he quickly drive back to Jiyong's house.Seunghyun just smiling saw seungri pout at him when saw he didn't bring any soft cake for him.

"bad hyung,you said you will buy soft cake for me." seungri complain to his hyung when seunghyun sit beside him and hug him tenderly. "sorry Ri, hyung will buy it for you tomorrow." Seunghyun pat at his dongsaeng head lightly while checking at seungri that look abit pale. "promise?! Really? Tomorrow? Hyung you didn't lie to me right?" seungri ask curiously and smile happily when saw his hyung nodded as answer. "eomma you hear that too right?" seungri tease and make his seunghyun hyung slap him lightly on his tight.Mrs Choi laugh saw both of her son teasing each other.

"eomma,what did doctor said? Did Ri's condition become worst again? He will be just fine right?" seunghyun ask after they went out from bedroom and leave seungri with jiyong. "doctor said Ri will be just fine,he just got to much stress.crying or sad will make him feel breathless.Seunghyun ah,eomma feel really scared each time Ri look weak like that. he always try to hide his pain like ussual." Mrs Choi answer sad and hug her son tightly.Seunghyun let his eomma hug him while sobbing.even Ri is adopt from orphan house but they really love and care at him like their own family. "eomma you regret about Ri?" seunghyun ask softly but Mrs Choi quickly shook her head. "no,i'm never regret bring Ri with us.he is a son that God give to our family." Mrs Choi look at her own son with her wet eyes. she saw seunghyun smiling, "then we will be strong for Ri,eomma Ri is your little love right? We will help him to be your little love forever.Ri will life until old and until all his hair become white like appa always pray for him.don't cry ok? Eomma we have to be his strong pillar when he need us." Seunghyun whisper while let his eomma sobbing in his embrace. they already know the risk since they adopt Seungri 14th years ago.but until now they still keep hope in their heart to save seungri and keep alive survive from weak heart disease.

Jiyong saw seungri seriously write something on book but when Jiyong try to read it Seungri quickly close the book and pretend look angry. "what?! I can't read it? What is that? New song?" jiyong ask curiously after saw seungri didn't allowed him to read it. "secret! Hyung not allowed to read it." seungri hide the book under his pillow. "i will read it when you sleep." jiyong tease and laugh when saw seungri almost cry because he can't hide it in others place. "bad hyung,i hate you." seungri pout and grab fruits slices from plate beside his bed and begin munching on the fruits. "really? Hahaha...don't pout like that,you look funny Ri." Jiyong help seungri to hold on the fruits plate. "it was my secret book,hyung don't read it ok? Appa give that for me." seungri said after eat a slice of fruits. "ok Ri,ok hyung just joking ok? Hei eat more Ri, why stop?" Jiyong laugh but stop when saw seungri close his mouth like try to holding back not to vomit. "hyung,wait i feel wanna throw up." seungri try to said and make jiyong run his hand on seungri's back to make him feel better and avoid from vomit. "better?" Jiyong ask worriedly and seungri smiling and nodded slowly.

"hyung,may i going out side? I'm boring, please?!" seungri ask pleading while pulling on jiyong's long sleeve. "going out side?" Jiyong look so worry because Seungri still weak even they could use the wheelchair. "i want eat cotton candy,watching blue skies and eating samgyetang." seungri said while smiling widely.Jiyong saw seungri eyes shining but seungri just got light attack from breathless and it make Jiyong just could shook his head as answer reject to seungri's request. "can't going out? Not today? When hyung?" seungri ask curiously. "until you feel better ok? We will going outside after you get well ok Ri?" Jiyong try to smile even know his answer will make seungri dissapointed and sad. "oh,ok hyung.but i wish going out side...i'm boring. in the village i'm always going to sitting near the hill." seungri answer softly. "hyung will buy cotton candy for you ok? Hm and let's tell your eomma about samgyetang,we could watch blue skies from window too." Jiyong try to cheer up seungri,he feel guilty not allowed seungri leave the room because he really worry Ri will fainted because of tired.Jiyong run out from seungri's room and told his idea to Mrs Choi and Seunghyun.after that he going outside with youngbae to buy white cotton candy after Mrs Choi said Seungri just like to eat white cotton candy.

both of them went back with few cotton candies and baloons with cute shape and colours.seungri look happy saw all of the colourful shape ballons in his bedroom.he sitting on the bed holding one of the cotton candy while one of his hand touching teddy bear doll that Jiyong give to him. "woah!! So cute! Eomma look,Jiyong hyung give all of these for me." seungri said happily when Mrs Choi and seunghyun went inside to help decorating the room with Jiyong and Youngbae. "Jiyong ah... don't spoiling Ri too much." Mrs Choi pat on Jiyong's shoulder but feel glad they could make Seungri smile happily again. "is ok aunty,it was fun." jiyong answer after finish put all the ballons. "Ri,it was our first time buying cotton candy.Jiyong just buy white colour,but i saw alot of colours cotton candy.it was look so yummy." Youngbae said saw seungri holding on the cotton candy stick. "Ri just like white cotton candy." Jiyong answer while help seungri open the cotton candy wraping plastic. "how you know that jiyong hyung?" seungri ask curiously. "eomma told him Ri,we still remember you crying harder when you still a kid,just because your appa buy a green and yellow cotton candy for you." Mrs Choi said and smiling saw seungri enjoying eating his cotton candy and feeding it to jiyong too.they giggling happily saw seungri and Jiyong eating the cotton candy together like little kids. "youngman,you never grow up huh?" seunghyun teasing seungri and pinch abit of the cotton candy too from seungri's hand.Seungri also pinch abit of cotton candy and feeding it to his youngbae hyung that smiling watch them enjoy the small party. "delicious right hyung?" seungri ask happily and Youngbae nodded after eat the cotton candy.

Jiyong sharing bowl of samgyetang with seungri after Mrs Choi finish cook that dish like seungri's wishes.they let Jiyong sharing a bowl of whole chicken with seungri after Jiyong saw seungri look difficultly use both of his hands to eat with the IV drip in his right arm. "hyung,you eat too." seungri said after jiyong feed him the chicken.Jiyong just nodded and eat together with seungri. Jiyong feel touching could eat together with someone and sharing a bowl of samgyetang.the homemade ginseng chicken soup taste so delicious.Jiyong never taste that special taste before. Sharing food with someone like Ri is impossible because Jiyong didn't have brother or sister to shared.they eating happily,Jiyong also feel glad seungri get back his appetite to eat after lost it since surgery.

"hyung,what is the best gift you ever get?" seungri ask after they finish eating the chicken and drink all the soup.Jiyong thinking for awhile but he look confused to decide. "i'm not sure,i got alot of gifts from fans,expensive stuffs,branded things and alot of thing that i couldn't remember it all." jiyong answer while wipes his hands with the dry towel after wash his hands. "best gift in my life is my life." seungri smile and make jiyong surprise with seungri answer. "each new day is the best gift in my life.it give me alot of chance to stay around appa,eomma and hyung.it give me chance to meet you hyung,it also give chance to keep breathing.for me that is the best precious gift that God give it to me." seungri smiling but it make Jiyong feel touching with the answer. "Ri?!" jiyong whispering after hear all the words from seungri and feel sad. "hyung,you also have your life as the best gift,big house,alot of money,famous and popularity.you are more lucky than others." seungri said while pull jiyong's right hand and hold it in his weak handgrips. "but i'm not." Jiyong answer shortly. "because you forget your childhood memories? And didn't remember anything?" seungri ask and sigh saw jiyong nodded as the answer. "atleast you still alive hyung, maybe someday you will remember it again.even you can't remember it but you still have alot of time to wait right hyung?" seungri said while watching his Jiyong hyung try harder not to cry. "don't be sad hyung,don't let sorrow eating you alive." seungri whispering while holding on jiyong's hand and let jiyong hold it back while try harder to holding back the tears.

"you still have time to wait until you find back your memories hyung, even you couldn't remember it then let it be.don't let it take your happiness too.life for today and tomorrow, find your reason to smile again hyung even it will be really hard to do." Jiyong still remember those words even after he leave seungri's bedroom and let that youngman sleep after take his pills.
