Chapter 44 : The Shadow Guardian

Seungri carefully walking out from bathroom after wear his bathrobe and counting his step until he could reach his bed though he couldn't see it.Seungri almost scream when feel dry towel with a pair of hands touching his hair but those pair of hands stop rubbing seungri's hair when seungri look shock and step to avoid the touch.Seungri feel those hands holding on his hands and carefully guide him to touch a face infront of him. "Jerry hyung? You still here? You are not leave with yonghwa hyung? Is ok,you didn't need to stay for me,i can take care of my self." Seungri release both of his hands but then he feel a light pat on his right hand.Seungri sigh and give up to refuse his new assistant when feel those pair of hands holding his hands tightly but tenderly like try to say let him stay as seungri assistant. "Jerry hyung,could you wait out side? I want to change my cloths and please close the door,i will tell you after i'm finish." Seungri said after he find the clean cloths with his hands on the bed that Ahjjuma jung prepare for him before.

Seungri changing his cloths after hear the door get open and close again because he couldn't see he carefully wear his cloth even he still look clumsy.but Jiyong actually didn't walk out from that room,he just stand laid his back on the door after pretend leave the bedroom with open and close again the door.unconsciously jiyong's tears fell down watching the blind seungri try to change his cloths even he couldn't see it with his own eyes.sadness and guilty eating jiyong alive when saw seungri just could use hands as his eyes to check his cloths did he wear it right or not.jiyong hurriedly wipes away his tears when saw seungri finish wear the cloths and sit on his bed again. "Jerry hyung,you may come in now." Seungri calling and make jiyong open and close the door again pretend he just went inside even he never leave that room before.Seungri sit nicely when jiyong comb his hair and fix his cloth collar without know his new assistant jerry is jiyong his own bestfriend.jiyong want to guide seungri walk to kitchen for breakfast but seungri push away lightly both of jiyong's hands and walk out from that room without crash on wall or things around him while sometimes his hands touching the wall on his side. "I already learn to walk around this house from ahjjuma and ajjusshi in this house so don't worry jerry hyung,i could walk by my self." Seungri said when feel his new assistant hold on his hand and want to guide him for walk.both of them arrive in the kitchen and sitting nicely while ahjjuma jung serve them breakfast.but they got surprise when seungri suddenly stand up after feel someone take away his spoon from his own hand. "Listen,i'm blind but i still could move my hands and legs so jerry hyung would you stop treat me like i'm an useless man? I don't want life like this!" Seungri yell in angry and make few maid quickly calm him down and pat lightly on his back try to stop him get angry more. "Young master lee,jerry sshi still new and today is his first day.please forgive him,please sit back ok? I will give you a new spoon soon young master.we are sorry if make you angry." Ahjjuma jung said softly and smile when seungri sit back on the chair. "I'm sorry,ahjjuma it wasn't your fault.i just don't want feel useless atleast i want try to take care of my self" seungri said softly.ahjjuma jung quickly give sign to jiyong not to do it anymore with shooking her head saw jiyong try to feeding seungri instead of let seungri eating by him self.jiyong tears fell again saw seungri eating slowly and feeding him self with his own hands.they prepare the plastick glass for seungri after seungri ask for it because he already crash on it in the past time and to avoid he crash on it or break the glass they agree with seungri's idea using the plastic one istead of glass.

Jiyong watching by his own eyes how seungri try to take care him self,eat his foods without need anyone feeding him and walk to the living room without need other people to guide his hands.ahjjuma jung tell jiyong,seungri stubborn to learn all of that since he stay in that house.jiyong silently sitting beside seungri on the couch and saw seungri focus to listening the news on TV even he couldn't watch it with both of his eyes.jiyong just realize seungri's hands holding paper and folding something with the origami paper. "I'm sorry if i get angry like before,i just didn't like get treat like i can't do anything.don't worry,uncle Kwon said i will get surgery for my eyes soon and i will able to see again.so just let me try life normal till that day come." Seungri said suddenly and he did make jiyong got surprise. "I can't see,but i still could feel your hand waving infront of my face." Seungri smiling after he catch jiyong hand that move slowly infront of his face and release it to take a glass of tea from ahjjuma jung that serve him tea. "Young master lee also could know we are around him even we didn't make any sound." Ahjjuma jung said and make seungri giggling, "ahjjuma,i can smell your tea and your parfurm near me." Seungri smile sweetly without know jiyong feel touching with the fact infront of him and silently shed tears.

Yonghwa meet Youngbae and feel glad when recieve dvd record and few papers from Youngbae. "Thank you Youngbae sshi,without you we really hopeless,Daesung sshi you also really helpfull" Yonghwa bow to both of Youngbae and Daesung that meet him secretly in Daesung's apartment that not far from Jiyong's house. "Listen,just call me Youngbae and drop the Sshi.i think Daesung also agree with me." Youngbae said and make Daesung nod too. "Yonghwa hyung,i don't know why you ask all office room record and why you ask both of us count each steps to reach each room in office but please make sure seungri still safe from Mrs Kwon." Daesung seriously warn after saw yonghwa holding on the record and papers. "Don't worry,i promise with my life seungri will stay safe and Mrs Kwon won't able hurt Seungri anymore.thank you for this information i will try my best to sent back seungri to all of you after we make Mrs Kwon paid all her mistake." Yonghwa smile and leave after bow once again to both of them.

Yonghwa call his Boss after sit inside the van and the driver drive him leave Daesung's apartment. "Sir,i got it now we just need start to teaching the manual step to Seungri." Yonghwa call and smiling hear his boss said he will flight back from japan after 2 days. "Sir,make sure you prepare how to meet your son and avoid Seungri know about this now." Yonghwa said before end the call and hear just a deep sigh sound end the call. "Sir,this time no matter what happen you should let your son know you still alive.atleast don't hide all those tears behind your cool face." Yonghwa whispering to him self and watching the skies from the car window.

jiyong just could help Jung ahjjuma guiding seungri watering the flowers in the flowers glass house after they eating their breakfast.Seungri look carefully touch each flowers and the leaves before watering it. "Jerry hyung,did the flowers colour beautiful? I start plant it with Jung ahjumma 2 weeks after i stay in this house." Jiyong nod but then he sigh and pat once on seungri's hands as answer yes after realize seungri can't see him nod. "I couldn't saw the colours,too bad hyung also couldn't tell me the colour." Seungri said sadly but still smiling. "Hyung,you can't talk but still have to take care of blind man like me.i'm sorry if i'm kind of rude this morning." Seungri smile and holding both of jiyong's hands.Jiyong feel so touching and hardly try to holding back the tears.without care seungri will get shock jiyong pull him in his embrace and pat tenderly on seungri's back.seungri didn't push him away and slowly hug jiyong back. "Hyung,you make me miss someone so much now.i wish i could hug him too and told him i'm sorry to make him cry." Seungri said almost whispering and make jiyong crying more because he know seungri talk about him. "Hyung,if the surgery fail i just hope i still could be my self even i couldn't see anymore.i hope that time when i meet him,he will forgive me and still want to be my friend." Seungri say sadly and quickly wipes his tears away when release his embrace.seungri smile bitterly when jiyong wipes carefully the tears away. "I'm not going to cry anymore,atleast not until i'm back to my family." Seungri said after stop crying. "I promise,i won't let anyone or anything make you cry Ri,you will see everything again even if i have to give my own eyes." Jiyong said in his mind watching seungri walk carefully among the flowers.

The next day,Yonghwa start training seungri to walk around the empty room and count on each steps and direction after seungri finish eat breakfast while jiyong stay beside him and feel weird why they have to practice like that.three of them start learn the steps and walk again in that empty room after lunch until the dinner time come.jiyong almost lost his temper and get angry when saw seungri look tired but can't rest because yonghwa still ask him to walk with his voice counting and guide the direction.but Yonghwa shook his head as the code and point to seungri that still could hear them even couldn't see them.that night jiyong explode and push yonghwa to the wall after make sure seungri went into his own bedroom. "What is that?! You keep make Ri walk and keep ask him to the left or right,step back and squat.did you plan to make Ri sick again?!" Jiyong yell after both of them stay outside the house. "Jiyong,i can't explain to you now but Ri really need more practice so our plan for that day could success." Yonghwa answer desperately. "I don't care! You know Ri already feel sad because he is blind and now all of you care just plan! Stop it or i will punch you infront of Ri so our Deal will over.i don't care even Ri will hate me as long he didn't suffer like that!" Jiyong yell and feel angry to him self because of hopeless. "You didn't care but i care jiyong ah,Ri need justice and better life after all we did to him all these time my son." Mr kwon voice from their back make both of them shock especially jiyong that look like just see a ghost. "Appa?!" Jiyong said in shock,he step back and almost fell if yonghwa didn't catch him on time.
