Chapter 55 : Smile for me

Jiyong got surprise when wake up in the morning and found seungri's bedroom already empty and the blanket got folded on the bed.jiyong rush down the stair in panic to call youngbae that ussually already waiting for him in the early morning.but jiyong stop panic when he saw Mrs Kwon catch his wrist and make sign with her finger on her lips,before point on sleeping seungri on the living room couch.seungri look curled up sleeping while hugging a huge fluffy tedy bear that jiyong give to him last time. "Sstt...Ri just sleep,come here we make breakfast for you." Mrs kwon almost whispering before she drag jiyong to the kitchen and found seunghyun also sleeping on the kitchen chair. "Aunty Choi, aunty Lee good morning." Jiyong greet before sit beside seunghyun that still sleeping laid his head on the table as a pillow. "Good morning dear." Both of Mrs Lee and Mrs Choi reply his greet and smiling. "I'm sorry Jiyong ah,my son Hyunnie keep whining to us to let him sleep there.he said he afraid sleep alone and wake up earlier." Mrs Lee explain and feel sorry make jiyong worry. "Is ok aunty Lee,i just though he leave without tell me." Jiyong answer while watching Mrs choi cooking breakfast. "Silly kid,Ri can't walk well he won't runaway alone." Mrs choi tease and make jiyong pop out his eyes. "But aunty..." jiyong feel uneasy to said the words. "Don't worry,Ri will stay here and i just joking about that.even we drag him back home he won't leave." Mrs Choi smiling and pour a glass of milk for jiyong. "Eomma is right,Ri said he want stay with you until your eomma come back to this home and your appa too." Seunghyun answer after awake and take jiyong's glass and drink it all without care his own eomma slap his hands from the glass.jiyong giggling saw his friend seunghyun ask for more milk and saw Mrs choi pouting at her son.

Jiyong quickly rush to the couch when saw the teddy bear almost drop from seungri's embrace,he try to catch it and let seungri still hugging on it but it was too late the teddy bear fell to the floor.Jiyong smiling saw seungri open his eyes a bit just to found back his teddy bear and hug it back. "Jiyong hyung good morning." Seungri said almost whispering while still rubbing his eyes with his other hand. "Morning Ri,want go back to sleep or breakfast?" Jiyong ask while squat infront seungri that still laid sleeping on the couch. "Sleep..." seungri answer and yawning again closing his eyes. "Ok,you can go back to sleep again." Jiyong pat tenderly before leaving the couch.but jiyong got surprise seungri catch his wrist and holding on it, "stay...hyung...i'm scared...can't see, so dark." Seungri said unconsciously in his sleep and make jiyong worry.but then the sound of soft snore make jiyong realize seungri still dreaming and not really awake when he holding back his teddy bear.jiyong smiling and not try to release his right wrist from seungri hand grip.he sitting on the floor and pat tenderly on seungri's hand with his other hand.they stay like that for almost half an hour before Mrs Lee call seungri to wake up for breakfast and medicine.they help seungri to sit on wheelchair and help him for breakfast before Mrs Lee and Mrs Choi help seungri to clean him self in bathroom and change his cloths.seungri look more fresh and happily join jiyong,youngbae,seunghyun and Daesung at living room and they enjoy their day playing video game even seungri can't play it well but they laugh happily teaching the youngest one enjoy the game.

"Jiyong hyung,if i ask something from you...will you give it to me?" Seungri ask suddenly after they eat lunch and just back on the bedroom because didn't want seungri skip his nap time. "Sure i will give it to you,what do you need now? Ri did you want buy something?" Jiyong ask curiously because as long he know seungri never ask anything from him. "I want you smile,i think you already forget how to smile since i'm back from uncle Kwon's home." Seungri answer and make jiyong got surprise. "But Ri you did make me smile,you always make all of us smiling." Jiyong answer try to explain but seungri shook his head slowly. "Not a real smile,eomma, appa,uncle,hyung and you too.all of you smile while hiding sadness in yours eyes.i know that...all of you try to hiding something from me.eomma always quickly wipes her tears before walk in to this room.seunghyun hyung's voice look he just crying but lie to me he catch cold.and you jiyong hyung,i hear you crying when though i already falling sleep at night." Seungri said it straight to the point and make jiyong's tears fell down unconsciously. "If all of you pretend not sad just to avoid me know the truth then it's not working at all.i feel all the pain,this is my body and i know it better than other.i know i'm dying hyung...is ok...since still a kid i life with this condition.i know well how to see real smile or just fake smile to hide tears.hyung...you can cry infront of me if you want,no need to hide it from me and crying alone...please?" Seungri slowly holding on jiyong's hands that now try to wipes away his tears while shook his head quickly. "You will stay alive Ri, you won't die...we will found new heart for you soon." Jiyong sobbing when seungri hugging him and pat tenderly on his back. "I'm ok,is ok if no more new heart for me.God already give me a miracle before,second chance of life...meet you again...find back my eomma...i already got everything in my wishes.if it will end then i'm ok with it." Seungri said smiling without try to hide tears that also wet his face. "Jiyong hyung you have to be strong accept this fact...so even if someday i really leave...you have to stay alive and stop blaming your self." Seungri said seriously when release his embrace and saw jiyong crying hopeless. "I won't let you die...i won't Ri..." jiyong sobbing try to stop crying saw seungri already know he actually not getting better but dying without new heart for his next surgery.both of them crying,jiyong look broken but seungri look more strong to face the fact.

Since that day seungri talk with him,jiyong never try to hide anything more from seungri include the limited time that the doctor told to them.when the pain not around seungri try his best to do things he want to do with his family,jiyong and his friends.cooking together with both of his eomma,playing guitar and singing with his seunghyun hyung,playing chest or game with jiyong and youngbae,shopping in groceries market with Daesung and Choi eomma.seungri several time got pain attack and several time they almost lost seungri in Emergency room.yet seungri still stubborn go back to home each time he awake and could breath without the oxygen mask to supply fresh air. "Even if i really have to die,i want die at home not in hospital,hyung remember that ok?!" Seungri words always warn jiyong not to let him stay more longer in hospital.

Seungri write few song lyrics and make it as new song list for jiyong,he even stubborn following jiyong to recording room so he could hear jiyong sing it and record it as an album.Daesung and seunghyun have to help seungri go to every place he want to visit include the recording studio with seungri condition that can't stand or walk with his own feet because of his heart failure side effect and have to use wheelchair.unconsciously seungri stay almost five months with his fragile condition.until that day he collapse in studio and got heart attack after his heart suddenly stop beat and make all of them panickly try to save him.seungri back to breath again after got CPR from private nurse but they failed to make him stay awake like before and now seungri have to accept full bedrest in hospital.all the time seungri just sleep and rarely to stay awake because his condition become more worst.he couldn't talk clearly and they hardly found him stay in full conscious.Mrs Lee and Mrs Choi crying when saw their son even didn't awake when they want to feed him.all of them almost give up and try to accept the fact that seungri soon or later will leave them soon.but Jiyong never accept the fact,everydays he come to visit seungri,talking with him even seungri still sleeping.he even give his first new album for seungri and play in in cd player for seungri. "I know you are tired,but don't sleep too long Ri,you have to come to my next concert if i make it next month.we still have to eat your Choi eomma samgyetang soup,you still have to learn how to drive car from Youngbae.Seunghyun hyung need your help to stop both of your eomma that always crying pray for you Ri...you hear that? We need you...your appa,eomma and all of us need you." Jiyong said try to smile even he also couldn't stop the tears fell.

They all finally got good news from Mr Kwon that found new heart for Ri from traffic accident patient that fell into coma and under dead brain condition because of the injury on the patient head.The surgery for seungri's heart transplantation finally could done after Mr Kwon paid the dead brain patient's family that agree to donor out their son organ include heart. Even got new heart for seungri,but the surgery still high risk with seungri's condition that already collapse and wait too long.they take the risk because they have no choice except accept the surgery for seungri.all of them waiting outside the surgery room with cross fingers praying for the best result. But the ten hours surgery really almost make them dying in their hope and cry.jiyong holding journal that seungri always hiding from him,he sitting outside the surgery room while reading each page that full with seungri's handwriting and pictures. "I believe you will keep our promise Ri,i will keep the whistle necklace until you come back and ask me to help you wear it..." jiyong whisper while holding the whistle necklace tightly that seungri slip inside the journal book.
