The Whistle Promised

Chapter 7 : Please Stay Alive

Jiyong just finish eat his breakfast together with Choi's Family,he feel sad and happy in the same time. because after breakfast he have to leave them and back to Seoul with Youngbae that day. Seungri look try to smile happily but still Jiyong could saw seungri look try to hide his sadness. Jiyong though maybe seungri feel sad he have to let jiyong back to face the busy day. jiyong never know the real reason, seungri feel dying and really sad after find out Jiyong is the whistle hyung that he wait for 14 years but now seungri know his Whistle hyung didn't remember about him because Jiyong lost his childhood memories after got accident 10 years ago.

Jiyong's Personal Assistant and also his bestfriend Youngbae arrive in Choi Family house before lunch time. Jiyong choose to ignored him when Youngbae ask about his condition. "Jiyong,listen to me,don't pretend you didn't know it, Mrs President,your mother...she worry about you since you missing few days ago." Youngbae try to explain when he saw Jiyong look annoying because they have to back to seoul. "shut up! If she care,it won't happen! Worry huh? She just worry i will cancel her concert and contract and make her pay for it! You know that!" Jiyong yell angrily but he try to hold it back when saw seungri abit shocked with his yelling voice. he pull away youngbae after saw seungri look sad hear all their fight. "but she is your mother Jiyong ah." youngbae try to calming down jiyong's temper. "she is,but she forget it! She just saw me as Kwon Jiyong her company talented star not as her son." jiyong answer sadly. "hyung? I know you got hurt and sad,if you can't do it for your eomma atleast do it for us? For your fans? For your own happines? Please?" seungri's voice make Jiyong and youngbae stop argue and saw seungri smiling at them. "but seungri, she never care." jiyong answer sadly. "you still have us that care for you." Mrs Choi and Mr Choi standing behind seungri and smiling at jiyong. "you can do it young man." Mrs Choi pull jiyong in her embrace and make Jiyong feel so touching. Seunghyun also pat on Jiyong's back and soothing his friend that start sobbing. "young man, if you didn't mind this house could be your second home to go home. don't be sad,someday your eomma will care and love you like your wish." Mr Choi pat on jiyong's head. Youngbae know Jiyong feel really hurt and lonely,lack of love and care from his family,didn't have father and the only one mother is his boss in their company. Jiyong born in rich family but poor with family love since born. that day they leave Choi's family house after lunch.

"eomma,what if someone promise you something but they forget about it because lost their memories?" seungri ask after jiyong and youngbae leave. he helping his eomma washing dish while seunghyun also leave together with Jiyong and youngbae because he have work schedules tomorrow at seoul. "i will wait,until that person remember it again." Mrs Choi answer lightly while keep washing the dishes. "what if it happen and there is no time to wait anymore?" seungri ask again and dry all the plate. "Ri? Did something wrong with you? Why you ask like that?" Mrs Choi stop washing the dishes and look at her son seriously. "i'm ok eomma,i just ask what if that case happen." seungri smile and make his eomma hit on his head. "silly kid! Don't ask like that.you really make eomma worry." Mrs Choi smile when saw seungri look giggling teasing his eomma. "eomma,i didn't have that long time to wait for him to remember." seungri answer in his mind without said it out. Seungri went into his room to take nap after finish help his eomma. he touching his left chest and feel his heart beating slowly. seungri couldn't tell anyone his whistle hyung that he wait for 14 years is Jiyong but already forget it because of lost memories. dissapointed feeling make seungri feel really sad even he also feel glad could meet his whistle hyung again after 14 years.

Mean while at Seoul Jiyong already back on his daily schedules but this time he make his own schedules after fired his manager and ignored all his mother calls. Jiyong just send message on their company email,tell them he will choose to cancel all concert if they forced him to follow all their schedules like before. Jiyong choose to manages all his schedules by him self and just leave without words when his mother come to argue about it. "youngbae tell jiyong to call me after he calm down." Mrs Kwon said when saw Jiyong went upstair to his own room. "no need! We didn't have anything to talk eomma,oh i'm forget,i should call your president nim. start now i'm manage my own life and my own schedules. if you sent new manager, i will kick him out in two days and i promised that! You start this so don't ask why i did this!" jiyong shout before slam his bedroom door. Jiyong curled up inside his bedroom near the door,he always try to do his best just to make his mother proud at him and love him as son but all just a dream that never come true. his mother never look at him as son but just a star and money maker for their entertainment company. Jiyong smile bitterly looking at the picture on his phone,seunghyun take that picture for him when they celebrate his birthday in Choi's family house.a family that he never have and make him feel sad and jelous.

after two weeks Jiyong drive his car to Village with Youngbae to Choi family house. he bough alot of foods and cake as a gifts. he even buy a new shirt and sweater for seungri. both of them drive happily to visit Choi family after finish all their concert schedules. "seungri!! Aunty Choi! I'm coming!" Jiyong calling happily infront the closed door but his smile dissapear when Mrs Choi open the door with red eyes look like just crying. "Aunty?! What happen? I bough cake for seungri,did seunghyun hyung at home now?" jiyong ask curiously while show the cake box on his hands. "jiyong ah,seungri can't eat it now,he is sick jiyong ah. my baby boy is dying." Mrs choi answer make jiyong shocked and almost drop the cake box from his hand if youngbae didn't catch it on time.

Jiyong and youngbae follow Mrs Choi to the hospital,right there they saw seunghyun and his father Mr Choi waiting worriedly outside the patient room. Jiyong saw seungri laid on bed with open shirt and alot of wires place on his chest and IV drips on his hand. Seungri look still unconscious with the oxygen mask on his face while doctor and nurses check on his condition. they look carefully move his arm to check on his blood preasure. "what happen with Ri? Two weeks ago he was just fine right? Why he laid inside there?!" jiyong ask sadly watching seungri from the glasses window.

"actually Ri got heart failure since born because of his weak heart,last week he got cold then his condition become worst after he keep whining about pain on his chest. five days ago he suddenly fainted and just wake up once since we rush him to the hospital for threatment." Seunghyun answer sadly because he can't hide fact about seungri's condition anymore. "he will get well soon right?" jiyong ask sadly after doctor allowed them to went into seungri's room. "we also didn't know. Doctor said he need new heart but it wasn't easy. so doctor said atleat he need operation to make his heart keep beating until we found new heart for him." seunghyun explain hopeless saw his beloved brother laid weak on bed. "when Ri will get the operation? Please told doctor to hurry." jiyong said when he sit beside seungri bed and holding on seungri hand in his hands. "we will move him to seoul today for surgery tomorrow." seunghyun answer sadly.

Nurses and Doctor move Seungri to the ambulance after Mr Choi sign the surgery paper. the ambulance bring seungri to Seoul Hospital for surgery tomorrow. Jiyong and Youngbae drive Choi's family to Seoul after Youngbae saw that family already look tired and sad to drive their own car. they arrive almost in the same time with hospital ambulance because Youngbae drive really fast after saw Jiyong look really worry and nervous.

"Jiyong,this is from seungri,he tell me to give it to you when he wake up from fainted last time. i'm afraid it will be late because he never awake since he give me that." seunghyun give the envelope for jiyong.all of them saw jiyong open the envelopes and read all the words in the letter. Jiyong got really shock after read the new song lyric in the letter and it have the same L sign like the songs that he recieve from his secret fans. his tears unconscious fell down when seungri write sorry in the end of the note. "it was him,Ri is the secret song writer that always hide all this time. seunghyun hyung why you hide him from me?" jiyong sobbing try to be strong after realize seungri is the secret song writer. "i promised not to tell you and help him sent that song for you since he hear story about you. He even stop selling out his lyric just because he want you to sing it. from first time he just hear your voice even never saw your face or performance. Jiyong ah,please tell me Ri won't die... I'm really scared." seunghyun hugging jiyong and crying while explain about seungri's song lyric. "he won't die,not now. hyung i won't let him die,he still have to wake up to let me paid for all his songs. i will paid the best doctor to cured him. he will get his new heart and he need to be alive until he got that new heart." jiyong sobbing while look at seungri that look breathe weak behind the oxygen mask.

"Ri please stay alive ok? You still have to teach me fishing,baking cake for me and we will go for picnic. you said you always waiting for me to visit right? You said you will become my friend and cheer me up when i'm sad. please don't let me alone again. Ri,you have to get well soon. we need you and i'm really need you. you could hear me right?" jiyong whisper sadly while holding seungri's hand in his hands. that night all of them lost their appetite to eat even youngbae bough alot of foods for their dinner. Seungri still unconscious and make all of them really worried. tomorrow seungri will get heart surgery to make his heart keep beating until he got new heart transplantation. even it just a thin hope but they still hold on that last hope for seungri.
