He realized that he was still considered quite new to McKinley High School, but Percy didn't understand most of the drama that happened around him. Between the Quinn, Finn, and Rachel love triangle; Mercedes sudden disappearance; and everything else going on in glee club; a school musical seemed a little too much.
The biggest thing with the musical at the moment was the fact that they had no funding. The glee kids were all trying to sell ad space, but it didn't seem to be going too well.
Percy was surprised when he saw Kurt walking down the hallway in the direction of the main office with a large, brute, balding man behind him. Kurt looked nervous and the older man appeared angry. Panicking slightly, he grabbed the first glee kid he saw and pulled him out of the hallway traffic and against the lockers. Ironically, it was Blaine.
"Who is that with Kurt?" He said hurriedly as he watched the two turn a corner down another corridor. Blaine saw them right before they disappeared and smirked slightly.
"Relax. That's just Kurt's dad." Percy turned his disbelieving gaze towards the shorter boy.
"You're telling me that sweet, innocent Kurt came from that big, bald man? He looks terrifying!" Percy felt so confused. He only grew more annoyed when Blaine decided to laugh.
"Burt's not that bad. I mean, when he is on a war path don't dare stand in his way. Overall though he really cares about Kurt and he is very accepting." Blaine sighed a little as he stared in the direction the father son duo had disappeared. "I wish my father was more like him."
"Wow." Percy responded quietly. He could relate pretty well with Blaine's last statement. His own father wasn't the best parental figure. He really wanted to get to know Burt now. He sounded like such a strong character. Almost as strong of a character as Kurt. I guess he did get something from his old man.
Blaine seemed distracted as he glanced up and down the hallway. "I'll catch you later in Glee Club." With a pat on the shoulder, he was gone.
Percy stood alone at his locker and just watched people pass by him. As he watched, he saw Rory get shoved into some lockers farther down the hall. Before Percy could do anything, Rory was back on his feet and heading in the opposite direction. Feeling a little guilty, Percy headed towards his next class.

Glee club started off with Mr. Schue writing on the board. The idea of magic made him laugh, making some of the other kids glance oddly at him. If they only knew.
"Okay everyone. I have some very exciting news. Due to the collective spirit of this club, particularly the hard ad sales work of Kurt and the generosity of the entire Hummel-Hudson household it is my pleasure to announce that we have raised the money to do West Side Story this year." Schuster spoke as everyone around him started to clap and cheer. Percy didn't completely understand, but apparently the musical was a really big deal. He was brought back out of his thoughts by Mr. Schuster's voice again. "Blaine, you actually had something you wanted to say, right?"
"Yes. I did." The shorter boy said as he stood up to stand in front of the group. "I just wanted to acknowledge that we've all had a really rough week, what with Mercedes leaving. So I prepared a little something to show what Mr. Schue just said. That the magic is still here. This is to remind us what glee is all about, which is just fun."
Blaine motioned for the drums player to start and suddenly the room was filled with the tunes of Katy Perry's hit single Last Friday Night. He had been a little surprised by the random outburst of song, but then again he realized that it was all just for fun.
He had to admit that he didn't really know the words to the song, so he just danced along with the group. He saw Santana sitting in the corner the whole time and thought that it was kind of rude to not even smile. He laughed at how cute Kurt and Blaine were being as they danced around in circles holding hands. It was the most fun Percy had endured in a long time.
He also noticed how happy Quinn was. She danced on top of a table with Rachel and just let loose. He was happy that she was were she belonged again. However at the same time, Percy couldn't help but wonder if Glee Club was where he truly belonged.
