For once in his life, Percy found himself enjoying school. Over the course of a few days, he found he had a group of people around him that he had quickly deemed as friends, there were no monsters around to bother him (he still didn't understand why), and he had easily beaten the schools record for fastest swim time his first day on the team. He couldn't help but feel accomplished.
Throughout all of these things, Quinn was ever present, along with her deal about joining the glee club. His friends had stopped asking him about glee after he officially joined the swim team. It was as if he had made his choice, forgetting that he had the option of doing both, and they had accepted it. Still, he felt the ever present decision looming over his head.
Percy decided that he would at least give glee club a try. If it didn't work out, then he would just admit it to Quinn and move on.
He decided to go and find Quinn and tell her of his latest decision. When he didn't see her out under the bleachers, he went looking for her in the school. After a long search, he finally found her in one of the classrooms he had never been in, talking to a teacher he had never seen before. The teacher had long dark hair and a large nose. Quinn stared down at a phone, completely unable to look away.
Percy stood in the doorway awkwardly and waited to be noticed. As he stood there, he caught a little of their conversation.
"You can be a part of this family, too, Quinn. I really want you to be. It's all up to you." The teacher lady said as she started to walk away towards a door on the far side of the room. When she was gone, all that was left in the room was a sobbing Quinn with tears running down her cheeks.
Percy took that as his cue and walked further into the classroom. Quinn never looked up until he was right in front of her. She was startled at first, but she quickly melted into Percy's arms as he embraced her tightly. She buried her head in his sweatshirt and cried for a few more minutes.
When she finally pulled away from the raven haired boy, she had a determined expression written across her face, leaving Percy rather confused. He cleared his throat and finally spoke.
"Are you okay?" He asked softly. He wasn't sure if his words would upset her again. He felt as if he was walking on egg shells. In front of him, Quinn gave a small smile.
"Yeah. I think I am." She turned to look around the room for a moment before she turned back to Percy. "Sorry, were you looking for me? I was about to come find you about a ride home."
Percy nodded. "I also wanted to talk to you about Glee club." He watched her eyes widened slightly with curiosity. "I was thinking about joining."
She bobbed her head at his words, a thoughtful expression taking over her facial features. "Me too, but there's something I need to do first."
"What's that?" Percy responded with confusion.
She shrugged nonchalantly. "I need to make a hair appointment."

This chapter was my connecting chapter. It takes place in the 'I Am Unicorn' episode, when Quinn decides to rejoin the New Directions. I felt that it was important to write this scene before actually having Percy join the Glee club. But rest assured, the next chapter is the one you have been waiting for... Percy joins the New Directions!
Thanks for reading!! If you enjoyed this chapter then please vote and leave a comment!
