Eventually Friday afternoon rolled around and school was buzzing, everyone was ready for the semester to be over and holiday's were looming only one week left and then freedom! Exams were draining, emotions were high and everyone was about seven different types of stressed. Thus Christy's little gathering proved to be the perfect release. The gang was all ready to just relax, with good company and hopefully some light alcohol consumption. I was currently at home, putting the finishing touches on my outfit, it was around 5 o' clock and Dane was picking me up in half an hour. I had decided on my wearing a tan coloured jumpsuit, it was just the right balance between casual and dressy, after throwing on a few gold rings, a delicate necklace and a pair of black leather heeled ankle boots I tossed my hair up into a high messy ponytail and started putting on a light coat of make-up. After grabbing my overnight bag and purse I made my way downstairs. Chris was seated at the kitchen counter and looked to be concerntrating hard at something on his phone, I decided it was only right to interrupt him. "Whatcha doing there Christopher?" I asked grinning. His head shot up, a guilty look on his face. "Uh-n-nothing what hey" he said fumbling. I narrowed my eyes at him suspiciously, "what were you just doing?" I said moving closer to him. He leant away from me, "Nothing Belle, gosh stop" not believing him for a second I asked, "were you talking to someone?" his cheeks immediately reddened and I knew instantly who it was, I made a noise of recognition and moved towards the kitchen. Hayley, he was obviously talking to Hayley. Hmm, interesting since her and Sean were coming to Christy's tonight together. I knew the game she was playing was a dangerous one and would end up hurting someone, I just hoped it wasn't Chris. I headed to the fridge grabbing out the fruit salad mom had made this morning before leaving for work. "Anyway, what time is Tristan coming over?" I asked, Tristan was Chris' best friend and he was staying over due to me not being there and mom and dad both working late. "Any minute now actually" he replied, "you have to answer the door, he's been talking and asked about you for the past month, I seriously think he's in love" he said his expression being that of disgust. I grinned at Chris and winked, "Well, I'm sorry your friend is madly in love with me but I can't help it-" I was interrupted by a knocking at the door. "Oh, I wonder who that could be!" I said mischievously heading for the door. Through the frosted glass I recognised the lanky figure standing on the other side as Tristan. I opened the door and and leant against it's frame, "Tristan darling, hello" I said to the shy teenager in front of me. He was cute and was definitely going to be a looker when he grew up he was rocking the whole cute geek thing, with his semi long light brown hair that always seemed to be slightly rumpled, delicate features and pretty blue eyes that were always framed by thick black rimmed glasses. Overall he was a cute kid. I watched as his eyes scanned my figure and his face turning a bright shade of pink before his eyes met mine shyly. "H-hey Isabelle, is Chris here?" he mumbled gently. I held in an 'aw' and reached over to grab his bag from him and help him inside. "Sure is, he's in the kitchen talking to his lover," my voice dropped down to a whisper as I shrugged his bag on one shoulder, "Don't tell him I told you that though" Tristan grinned and blushed again and I reached over and rumpled his hair. "Come on I'm making smoothies before I head out" I said, and he nodded. When we reached the kitchen I noticed Chris wasn't there, "He must be upstairs, I'll just put your stuff on the counter" I said doing just that with the bag I was carrying. He nodded before sitting on one of the stools. "So, do you just want a berry smoothie or what?" I asked leaning on the counter top across from him, he smiled at me not meeting my eyes, "Um, anythings fine, I'll just have whatever your having" he said quietly. "Alrighty, berry smoothie it is!" I turned around opening the fridge and began pulling out a range of ingredients. "How's school been?" I asked over my shoulder, throwing strawberries into the blender. "It's going well, what about you?" he replied politely. I grinned, "Oh you know it's school, I'm ready for the holiday's though!" I said shooting a glance at him and his nodded watching me, I held up a finger indicating to him that I was going to turn on the blender. After doing so, I continued, "Are you going anywhere during the break?" I asked, he nodded, "Well, um I'm pretty sure my parents want us to stay at the beach house and I actually think they are talking to your parents about you and Chris coming with, I mean, if you wanted to." I shot him a surprised look as I poured the smoothie mix into four glasses, "Oh wow, yeah my parents haven't said anything to me about it, but I've been super busy with school this week" He nodded, "Yeah my parents said you can bring a couple of friends along because they said we will be staying in the guest house" Tristan's parents were loaded, due to his father being an extremely successful lawyer and his mother was the CEO of a large company, our parents had been friends for years making us long time family friends. It was times like this when I appreciated his parents. "Damn, that sounds so good" I said passing him a smoothing, he thanked me smiling and I winked back at him before sipping at my own. "What sounds good?" Chris asked entering the kitchen. "Us staying with the Washington's these holidays" I answered passing him a smoothie. "Cheers," he said raising the glass, "Yeah, mom was going to talk to you about it tomorrow, since you're not going to be here tonight". I nodded and was about to reply when I heard another knock at the door, "Ah, that must be Dane" I said walking towards the door smoothie still in hand. Throwing open the door I exclaimed loudly, "Enter if you dare!" Dane rolled his eyes and reached forward grabbing my half finished smoothie and drank it quickly. "Thats mine! I made you your own inside! Wow!" I complained, he grinned at me and we both scanned each others outfits, "Looking good 99" he said and I grinned at his Get Smart reference, "Right back at you Max" I shot back. He was wearing a pair of black ripped jeans and a maroon shirt, his hair was loose, and the dark clothing made his blonde hair stand out and his tan look darker. "Move," he said pushing me gently out of the way, "I want to have that other smoothie" I grumbled quietly under my breath and shut the door gently behind him. We entered the kitchen the two boys greeted Dane, "Hey Trist man, what you been up too?" Dane asked Tristan patting his head gently, we both had a bit of a soft spot for Tristan due to his innocent, shy demeanour. While the boys began chatting I drank half of Danes smoothie, pushed the rest of it to Dane who shot me a horrified look at the fact that I had drank some, retouched my lipstick and gathered my things. "You ready to go Belle?" I heard Dane shout, I was currently in the bathroom giving myself a quick once over, "Yeah Dane, let's hit it" I yelled back grabbing my bag and a quick nod at my reflection I moved outside. "Bye bye boys, have a good night, be good" I said ruffling Chris' hair and cheekily kissing Tristan's blushing cheek. "Stop trying to seduce Tristan Isabelle" Chris said teasingly with a soft layer of seriousness. I winked at him, "Oh hush, he loves it and I'll see you tomorrow!" I yelled over my shoulder. Dane yelled goodbye and we hopped into his car. "Isabelle, your killing that poor boy he's so in love with you" Dane said punching me playfully on the shoulder. "Hey, he deserves a little love, I dont want to break the poor boys heart!" I pouted rubbing my shoulder gently. "Pfft yeah yeah, I know you love it" He teased. I rolled my eyes and turned the music up, "Whatever, I my friend am ready to vibe so shut up you silly child" I yelled over the loud bass as made our way to Christy's.
