In Shadow the Hedgehog, Shadow learned a lesson about putting the past behind him. He learned that bad things have happened, and it was time for him to forget them. He couldn't do anything about them. Sometimes you got to let go for what lies behind you. That's why you gotta let go of the past, keep moving forward, and look to the future.
