Sonic CD (1993)

In Sonic CD, Sonic has found an article in the newspaper that said that the mysterious Little Planet has appeared over the Never Lake. Little Planet was a place of both beauty and wonder. Time moves freely on the planet, and that entire sceneries can change in the blink of an eye. Sonic then thought that he would go there as a vacation.

Sonic ran to Never Lake to see Little Planet, when something strange happened. He saw that the entire planet was in a huge metallic shell and chains. He then knew that it was obviously by the work of Dr. Robotnik. Sonic then raced up the chain to check out the trouble.

He was then running through the Palmtree Panic Zone. When he reached top speed, Sonic had made it to the future. But it wasn't a good future. He then eventually found Dr. Robotnik. Dr. Robotnik told him that since he's not taking over Möbius, he decided to take over a smaller planet. He said he was also using miracle gems called the Time Stones. The Time Stones are the miracle gems of Little Planet. It was said that whoever possesses the gems, will be able to freely move through time like Little Planet. And when he collects all the Time Stones, his new, Robotnik future will be created.

After Sonic defeated Robotnik, he moved on to when suddenly he ran into someone who was waiting for him. It was a pink female hedgehog named Rosy the Rascal, also known as, Amy Rose. Amy was very excited to see him, but Sonic had to move on. When he was about to continue going, someone else showed up. It was a metallic robot sonic, named Metal Sonic. Metal Sonic grabbed Amy Rose, and flew off. Now not only was Sonic going to save Little Planet, stop Dr. Robotnik, and grab all the Time Stones, but save Amy Rose too.

So Sonic moved on running, traveling through time, collecting the Time Stones, and saving the plant life. Until he finally came to the Stardust Speedway Zone, where Metal Sonic was waiting for him. It was to where Dr. Robotnik was going to stop Sonic. It was now a race between Sonic and Metal Sonic. Sonic and Metal Sonic were speeding through the zone while Dr. Robotnik was destroying the path behind them. When Sonic won the race, Metal Sonic was zapped by a giant laser, and was destroyed. As Dr. Robotnik started flying away, Sonic saw Amy tied up, and he jumped up and saved her.

After avoiding a few more traps, Sonic finally met Dr. Robotnik for the final showdown. After Sonic finally defeated him, the whole planet then started falling apart. Sonic then grabbed Amy and brought her back down to Never Lake, to where the last thing Amy saw was The Blue Blur running off.

Sonic watched as the metallic shell started tearing apart, and Little Planet was back to normal. It had sparkling lights in the shape of Sonic's face as a thank you for saving Little Planet, and it disappeared into the sky. And all the flowers appeared back on Never Lake.

Just then, Dr. Robotnik was still flying away, with a Time Stone still in his hand. Sonic grabbed a rock, threw it at him, and all that was left, was an explosion.
