(One Year Later)
"Charlie! C'mon the meeting is starting!" Sam called from the main room. I looked down at Luna in her crib. Her red hair was getting long, I needed to give it a little trim. Hey eyes fluttered as she dreamed, and her little fists grasped her little stuffed wolf. I smiled before I left and closed the door behind me. I marveled at our house. After the two packs joined, we added on to the cabin so that it was big enough for pack meetings. It was huge now. The main room had couches and chairs for everyone to sit in. "Charlie, hurry up." Sam whined. I giggled at him and entered the main room where everyone was waiting. Alice was standing off to the side, breastfeeding her daughter Stormy, who was only a couple months old.
"Why're we even having this meeting?" I asked. Michael and Sam rolled their eyes at me.
"We found two Rogues crossing over into our territory. The older one says she knows you from Jared's pack. She and her little brother want to join us." Michael said. I blinked at him for a second. Then I saw Alex, who was standing by two familiar figures with his arms crossed.
"What are their names?" I asked. The girl snorted. My eyes locked with hers. Butterflies erupted in my stomach, and my face felt hot.
"They haven't even asked us that yet. But, since you seem decent, I'll tell you." The girl stepped closer to me. "I'm Fawn, this is my little brother Kole." she said. I looked down at the teenage boy. He was extremely familiar. Fawn eyed me curiously as I looked at her and her brother.
"If you'll excuse us," I said to the pack. "There is something I must discuss with Fawn." Michael's eyebrows knitted together, but he didn't question me. He dismissed the meeting and told everyone to get back to what they were doing before it started. He gave me a look as he walked past me. "I know what I'm doing. Take Kole to the stables, show him some of the animals." I said. Michael nodded and started to address Kole. After they left, Fawn and I were in an uncomfortable silence.
"So, why did you want to be alone?" she asked finally. I strode over to her confidently and grabbed her hand. Then I placed it on my fast beating heart. She searched my eyes for a second. "Why're you so nervous?" she whispered. Her hand trailed up to the back of my neck. She pulled me closer, so our noses were brushing. "I found you, I found you." she murmured to herself. I couldn't hold it in any longer. I crushed my lips to hers forcefully. Fawn's arms went around my neck and she pulled me closer, if that was even possible. My hands were on her waist, holding her in place.
"Now that you have me," I whispered after we had stopped kissing. "What're you going to do with me?" I smirked. Fawn placed a kiss on the tip of my nose lovingly.
"I'm going to hold you in my protective as fuck arms and never let you go." she mumbled into my lips before she kissed me again. God, I could get used to this.
