Chapter III : Mr mysterious guy

*After school*

Astrid's POV

I'm fed up with them ! I mean can't them let us walk alone, Hayden's friends are really daunting, especially the twins; Tuffnut and Ruffnut, they are arguing all the time. And Snoutlout is like a chewing gum, he is following me everywhere. But Fishlegs is so well mannered. At least, I got Hayden with me for comfort.

When we passed the portal, everyone went to his place, I can still hear the twins shouting and finally I got rid of this sticky Snoutlout. In conclusion, me and Hayden are alone, and it's getting darker and darker as the sun sets.

We continued walking.
- So Hayden.
- You can call me Hiccup.
- OK Hiccup *Smirked* where do you live ?
- In my house. With an emotion-less face.
Ow ! He look really nervous, maybe I should quit asking.

We went through a tunnel, a really dark tunnel as a shortcut and when we.. I got out I couldn't find HIM ! He simply vanished without any track.

Loneliness and darkness.

I continued my way peacefully, not carindg about anything but that didn't last long. I suddenly heard some movement and whispers behind the bushs on the street sides. It looks like it's coming from anywhere and nowhere at the same moment. I wouldn't be scared if I wasn't alone, but thanks to Mr mysterious guy I am alone ! And from a bush, a skeleton boney arm was thrown. OMG I'm gonna pass out or even DIE !

My heart beats are accelerating as if it gonna get out of my chest. I was too scared and also sweating like a pig and...The terrifying creature or let me say creatures jumped right out. How didn't I guess it, the twins ?

Without even thinking, I jumped on Tuffnut hitting him fiercely with the fake plastic skeleton arm. But I don't know why Ruffnut was helping me ?

- Oh you should've seen the expression on your face, you were like ah and ahh, ahhh you looked very funny ! Said Tuffnut wiping his tears.
- If you tell anyone, ANYONE about what happened, especially Hayden, you'll be in a really big big trouble. I'll kill you with my bare hands ! Ok ? I burst angrily at his face pointing to his chest.
- Astrid ? Said Ruff with a weird tone.
- What !! I said as I turned to face her, sparks getting out of my eyes.
- Why don't we tell Hayden ?

I really didn't know how to answer that ? I even really don't know why I mentioned his name ? I should get him out of my mind.

I decided to break up the creepy silent.
- It's getting late, mom's waiting for me. See you guys ! And I took my bag and left running, yet still thinking about what happened and what I have said.

*Back to the twins*

- Sis ? Tuff asked.
- Yeah ?
- Why mustn't we tell Hayden ?
- Why wouldn't we ?! They said together with an evil look and laugh.

*Back to Astrid*

Ugh...!! I yell at top of my lungs in my room.

Everything is so confusing. I don't know how I'm going to survive all these years at this school. Hayden is totally not interested in me.
Fishlegs is ok I guess. Snotlout is starting to creep me out, and the twins !!!! I don't wanna think about those two muttonheads.

Ugh am I the only sane person here ? But what really wonders me is why Hayden is so.....so mysterious. Its like he's hiding a secret. I know I just met him, but. Can see it through his face. Oh my that sounded cheesy.

Anyway I sat up on my desk and just finished up my homework. Later on I got bored so I just started searching up random things on the internet. Like....

*Latest movies

Then an idea popped in my head. I remembered the the book Hiccup was reading yesterday morning so I thought why don't I search it up. Maybe then I'll get to know him better. So I did. I started to scroll down. Then it finally appeared to me.....it's a book about dragons !! Bit those things don't even exist ! Right ? Well I need to know more about this. So I spent the whole evening reading about DRAGONS.

Hiccup has a lot of explaining to do tomorrow. After that, sleep took over me.
