Ingrid's POV

It has been an hour since Astrid went to school, it's ten now. I just finished breakfast with Hayden, he's so nice and well-mannered ! But looking at his condition, I should probably take him to the hospital, just to make sure he's Ok. You don't want Astrid yelling at you for not taking care of him good enough, do you ?

- Hayden, are you ready ? I asked him as I made my way to the porch, slowly so he can catch up.
- Yeah, I'm ready Ma'am. He said limping out the door.
- Call me Ingrid, darling. Now let's go. I said helping him into the passenger seat. And we hit the road. LOL ! Not literally. Moms can make jokes too.

Astrid's POV

It's break time and it's the perfect time to tell the others what happend. I found the gang, all gathered in the middle of the yard, debating more like arguing about something. I moved forward to them, and the first who seemed to notice me was Snoutlout.

- Oh there she is guys ! He yelled in relief. All of them suddenly turned their attention to me swarming me with a lot of questions.
- Hi.... Guys. I said totally breaking this awkward moment. But they all just gave me a blank look.
- Astrid, where's Hayden ? Apparently you were the last one who saw him, right ? Asked Fishlegs anxiously. First time I saw him without a book.
- Ehhh...Ehh...I didn't know how to answer that or what to say. Geez ! I guess there are theses moments where you don't even remember how to speak. Well that's happening right now.
- Where is he, tell us where he is !? Yelled Tuffnut while shaking me by the shoulders. Wow ! I've never seen Tuffnut so serious. Remind me never to get on his bad side. So I took a deep breath gathering all my courage and....
- He's in the hospital. As simple as that, but they all face palmed me. Seriously people, what else do you want me to say?
- Wow ! That was.....was something. Said Ruffnut.
- Now can you please explain why on earth "birthday boy" is in the hospital ? Asked Snoutlout in total confusion. So I took another deep breath and said....
- Well, yesterday when I went to check on him, the window was broken and the lights were off. Ten minutes later he opened the door and fell on me and practically he passed out, he said that a thief broke into the house and he had to defend himself. But I feel like that's not TOTALLY true, but I let it pass since we don't want want to argue with an injured person. So anyways, mom took him to the hospital like one hour ago.

I don't know what's worse : The rage of the gang, Hayden's incident or mom's return. It was a tough day.

I just went past them to avoid their so-called rage. I grabbed my phone and called mom to ask her about Hayden. I am so obsessed with this guy.
- Answer please, answer please...Oh hi mom !
- Hi sweetheart ! Everything ok ?
- Now that's a million dollar question. But really, is he doing ok ? I asked.
- Ahh, your boyfriend, he's Ok. I just rolled my eyes at that sentence.

I really needed to hear that. But Hiccup will get better when he'll see my gi... MY GIFT ! I didn't get him anything, and the party is right after school ! What am I gonna do ? Great Astrid ! You planned him a party, but out of all the things you forgot the gift. I just face palmed myself. But seriously what am I going to do !?
