Chapter V : Big secret revealed

Astrid's POV

I was looking carefully from the window, then I saw Him opening the zipper of his jacket...WOW he is so....No ! Focus Astrid ! You're here to know more about Hiccup, not to admire him.

Suddenly, two cats came out of nowhere and started fighting. I lost my equilibrium and the tower of trash cans started to collapse down and I fell and maybe passed out....

*One hour later (or maybe more)*

I started to feel again. I tried to open up my eyes and move my legs and arms, but it was all in vain. I felt so dizzy and all I can see is black...Then, something or maybe someone lifted me.

Anyway, the one who lifted me was too gentle. Oh where are my eyes when I need them ?! And then I opened my eyes only to find out it was Hiccup !!

- Oh my god ! Oh my god ! What to do now ? I said to myself. He smirked and finally opened his mouth
- If don't quit being red, you're gonna blow !
- hehehehe ! And I became more reddish than before.

I realized that he was carrying me bridal style, I tried to move and stand on my feet, but he was so strong. Of course he was trai...

- We're here ! And he snapped me out of my thoughts.
- Where ? I asked awkwardly.
- to my house.
I don't know why I didn't remember this house, even though I tracked him all the way down here ?

He pushed the door with his right hand, still carrying me with the other one. Gosh, he's so strong, he lifted me and my heavy bag with one hand !

- Thanks. He said.
- Did I say that out loud ?
- Maybe.

I need really to lock my mouth.

He switched on the lights and continued his was upstairs. Where is he taking me ? What if he was a killer ? What if he's gonna cook me for dinner ? Then he said
- You'll gonna spend the night here, in my bed.
And my eyes widened and my mouth too.

He put me gently, on the large bed, and then went down. The room was empty, except for a bed and a closet. I left the bed, walking slowly to the closest, hoping to find something to help me with my 'mission'. And suddenly I heard him saying
- If you get any closer to the closet I'm gonna kill you.
Here, in this situation, I can't choose between my mission and a muscular mysterious guy. So I stepped back and back to the bed.

Few minutes later, he came in with a cup of hot tea and a wet towel. I drank the tea and he gently placed the towel on my forehead, and I fell asleep.

It was blurry, but it all cleared up. I remember Hiccup's bed and what happened yesterday night ( Do not think wrong perverts ). My head is still aching and I feel a little dizzy too.

I hardly woke up, what was in that tea ? I looked from the window, sun didn't rise yet. I looked closely at the 'forbidden' closet. What if he is hiding dead bodies in 'here ? What if he was a serial killer ? No no, he doesn't look like one. I heard the sound of a hard hitting, then I saw Hayden from behind a door. He was hitting a plastic man, maybe training Karate or Judo, I don't know. WOW HE'S REALLY A STRONG GUY ! Then after his training session, he went to what seemed like a bathroom to take a shower probably.

I started running, looking for the exit. What if I'm his next victim ? OMG his house is so big from the inside ! Then BAM...I bumped into a shirtless Hayden. A very shirtless Hayden at this point. Gosh my cheeks are burning ! Wow he does have packs ! And we fell on the ground, me on top of him with my hands on his bare chest.

- Hmmm...He-Hey Hayden, I was looking for the bathroom. I lied. He just chuckled.
- Let's have breakfast. And I followed Hayden, still admiring him and his house.

- So where's your parents ? I asked him.
His hands clenched into fists, his veins got clearer through out his arms.
- They aren't home. He said. I can feel anger in his voice.
- Sorry. I felt really guilty.

*In the kitchen*

- I made you some eggs and bacon if you'd like.
- You can cook ! I said with a smirk.
- I kinda taught myself how to cook so yeah, I can cook. He said scratching the back of his neck. Gosh he's so cute ! And why he's still shirtless ?

Second thought, I don't mind it. At all.

He is a really great cook ! The dish he prepared was much more better than the ones we eat in the cafeteria. I wonder if it was even food ? And he sat in opposition to me, laughing at me.

Sooner or later I will know all his secrets.

After breakfast, he walked me home 'til we were at the door step of my house.

- I guess that's it. he said with a bit of sadness lacing his voice.
- Yeah but we'll see each other at school, right ?
- OK. And as fast as lightning, he grabbed my chin gently and gave me a kiss on the cheek and left his hands in his pockets.

I slammed the door shut behind me and I remembred....MOM ! I forgot that I have one ! So I made my way upstairs to my room quietly to sleep since it's still early for school.
