Chapter 13

Harry's POV

I get sick to my stomach as I walked down the stairs to get breakfast, but for once it wasn't morning sickness...Today's Wednesday, the first day of my new school. I'm worried about the whole "making friends" thing. I was never good at making friends as a kid but then after coming out it was impossible.

" Morning babe." Louis smiled as I walked into the kitchen. "Morning." I fake smiled. "Babe it's going to be okay. You'll make friends and then you can choose who to trust. Don't worry!" He said seriously. I nodded and sat down in front of the breakfast Louis made me.

I looked through my book bag double checking that I had everything. "Got everything?" Louis asked. I nodded and grabbed everything I needed and followed Louis to the car. "Listen Harry everything is going to be okay. I know it's stressful going to a new school and being the "new kid" but not everyone is like Nick and his friends. I promise you." Louis said. "I know but it's a huge change and I don't even know how to make friends!" I said maybe a little too rudely judging by the look of Louis face. "Sorry Lou I just...I'm scared." I whispered. "I know you are but everything is going to be okay give it a chance yeah?" He said pulling into the parking lot of the school. "Okay. I love you Lou." I said kissing him. "I love you to. Now just go to the office and they will show you around." I nodded and grabbed my bag walked towards the door.

I kept my head down and walked around trying to find the office but after minutes of looking I gave up and decided to ask someone. "Excuse me? Can you help me, I'm looking for the office?" I said to a blonde haired guy leaning against the lockers. "Yeah course. Follow me. You new here?" I smiled at his Irish accent. "Thanks and yeah." I said shyly. "Don't be shy mate. My names Niall. What year are you?" Niall asked. "I'm Harry and I'm in year 12." "That's great I'm in 12 as well. Maybe we'll have similar schedules and I can show you around?" Niall asked. "Yeah that'd be great!" I said as we both walked into what I'm guessing was the office.

"Well you must be Harry Styles. I'm Principal Miller. Welcome. Here is your schedule and a planner." He smiled. "Thank you." I mumbled back before turning to Niall and walking toward where other students sat. "Let me see your schedule." I handed it over to him. "You have English, Biology, Geometry, and Music with me and you have History, Child development, and Art with my boyfriend Liam who has music with us." Niall smiled his lighting up when he said Liam.

"This is Liam, Liam this is Harry he's a new student here." Niall said as a brown haired guy walked over putting his arm around Niall. "Nice to meet you." Liam said smiling. "Nice to meet you too." I smiled back. We talked for a few minutes before the bell sounded and we had to go to our lockers. I was lucky and Niall and Liam's locker in the same hall as mine.

I quickly shoved everything in my locker and grabbed my things for History. Which I had with Liam. I shut my locker and jumped when I saw Liam smiling behind it. "Sorry I didn't mean to scare you." He chuckled. "It's okay." I laughed along and walked with him threw the crowded hall ways. I held my books with one hand and put my other arm around my stomach feeling nervous with so many people walking through the hall way I didn't want anything to happen to my baby.

After having History, English, And Geometry we had lunch. I wasn't sure what I was going to do but luckily Niall and Liam invited me to sit with them. I'm glad I met them they seem really nice. We got our food and sat down at a side table with 2 girls who looked identical. "Kaylee, Tori this is Harry he's new here." Liam said. "Hey I'm Kaylee." One of them smiled. "And I'm Tori. Nice to meet you." They both had American accents. "Hi I'm Harry nice to meet you to."

After eating and talking with everyone I learned a lot about them. They were all very funny and seemed like the right people to hang out with. I also managed to tell apart Kaylee and Tori. "So Harry do you have a girlfriend or boyfriend?" Kaylee asked. My hands grew sweaty. Could I trust them? I mean they seem nice and non homophobic because Liam and Niall. "Um I have a boyfriend." I said looking down. "Awwww cute!" Tori smiled. After tons of questions about Louis I finally showed them a picture of him from my phone. "Awww your guys look so cute together!" Niall said. "Thanks." I smiled at him. "So why'd you move?" Liam asked. "I was getting bullied." I said simply. "That's awful! Why would they do that?" Liam asked. "Because I was gay." I said again simply. Everyone was pretty quiet after that. "Well no need to worry about that. No one really cares here." Niall spoke up.

The day seemed to fly by and soon Niall, Liam, and I were all sat in music which was last period. The teacher explained a project they were starting which happened to be similar to the one Louis had given us. We had to write and preform a song with a group. Niall, Liam, and I got together in a group and talked about what we were gonna do. We had 4 weeks before this was due so we planned to each write  some lyrics and see what we come up with then plan the music and all that.

"Bye Harry see you tomorrow!" Niall and Liam called. I smiled and waved back before grabbing my bag and heading out of the school. I had to walk since Louis had a meeting today. He went on and on about how sorry he was but I reassured him it was okay. I honestly didn't mind a walk right now. I plugged in my head phones and started walking. I noticed a small bakery close to the school and Louis' house. I saw that they were looking to hire someone. I went in and talked to them about the offer and they said I had the job. They didn't need any paper work claiming they were in need of workers and that I looked like someone they could trust. I would work from 3:30 to 7:30 on week days after school and on Saturdays 10-3 and I would start tomorrow. I gladly thanked them and walked the rest of the way home.
