Day 24

Well, this day in my life was all about boys... sorta.

To start, Anna, whom I considered my closest friend out of my friend group, told me that Jack had looked at me while we passed each other in the stairwell. I mean, he probably looked near me, or at someone else  near me... Little did I know. I promise to get to who exactly he was looking at later. But either way, Anna described it as if the slight eye contact we made was the most romantic thing in the world. Looking back at that moment now, I remember getting all tingly. Now I'm just cringing.

Later in the day, when Anna and I had gone to Carrefour after school to buy chocolate, we spotted 2 familiar boys. Both of them were in my class.

Allow me to introduce:

Eric Hamilton -- Quite a weird kid with a thick French accent and a weak lousy attempt at a moustache. He had small beady eyes, but other than that he wasn't that bad, actually. Except for the fact that when I met him, he was 12. And we were in 9th grade. I doubt he skipped a grade though. For the first half of the school year I caught him constantly staring at me in class. Most people thought he had a crush on me. It was quite obvious.

Eric was with a guy from my class, Logan, and it was overall thrilling, running into classmates when you're a new student and having them actually engage in conversation with you.

But anyways.

There wasn't too much of a conversation between the 4 of us. It was mainly just me and Anna trying to figure out if Eric was really 12. Turns out he turned 13... one week ago. Other than that, they didn't give me a cookie when I asked, and that was pretty much all that happened.
